I kinda wish he'd hire a few contractors, the game's only $5 but it has to be making some seriously decent money so it'd be cool to grab a few good coders and say "I want feature X Y and Z and I'll pay you this amount of $ for it" to really kickstart the dev cycle and get the game more "feature complete"
This kinda game you really want to strike while the iron is hot before the fomo wears off and while he's doing an alright job he's not exactly the fastest dev since he's probably working a day job and doing updates in his spare time.
