I've cleared as far as I can on mythic without a guild, I have no interest in going in further in mazed+ and the anniversary event is staggered out so far I have nothing left to do in it, I want to take a break and play classic for a bit, between single player project, turtle wow, ascension and project epoch what's the best way to do that? (I know they'll probably announce something on the 13th but that will probably be for 3-4 months out and I want something to do right now)

Joining a guild for m+ is kinda shitty anyways. I mean logically it should be good, but there's inevitably like a handful of cliques centered on like 1 tank or 1 healer, everyone else kinda waits their turn. At least from my experience.

I noticed that too. The biggest problem is that even the players themselves want to tank or heal, the guild itself only needs dps players for most of the spots.

Ascension definitely isn't the "best" way to play classic but it just launched a fresh server with an interesting new set of classes, and you can hit max level (30) pretty quickly so it won't eat up too much of your time if you decide it's not for you

SL skip has been turned off/bugged since dragon flight.
You can get the skip if you go there exactly at level 60 though(you may have to relog first)

Don't feel like playing a long rpg again, bg3 was alright but I 3 different endings and it felt meh by that point since it's a bit linear, skyrim modding isn't fun to me you either set up sex mods and goon for a bit or you set up combat mods and realize there's still nothing to do and that it still feels incredibly janky, if I was going to play a heavily modded game I'd rather it be something like rimworld

If any class was regarded as fun by everybody, everybody would play it.

Personally, I do find it fun. It is very mobile, it has a rather simple rotation, has some nice utility and a fuckload of survivability. Being good with disengage looks radical too.

The birthday event is kinda mid, but really good if you want to level stuff, it also has it's own raid tier alongside T2 tier set remix Which require you to farm "celebration tokens" over weeks to get all of them + the other rewards

The trolls became the night elves due to living around the Well of Eternity. And iirc, it took generations of mutations to turn into the night elves. It wasn't like they woke up one day in new bodies.
One of theories about the great roots down in Azj Kahet are the roots of Elun’Ahir. So the original Harronir are probably just a group of the trolls that were midway through the transformation into night elves, who came to protect the roots of Elun'Ahir. Cut off from the Well, their stopped mutating into night elves, and became something else.

The guy behind is this Norwegian dude who makes documentaries. This is only his third one. He probably just picked this kid because the kid is Norwegian, and so its easier to do this about him instead of some kid in, say, South America.
Netflix picked up the documentary after it got massively good reception at the Sundance Festival. And then shit built up from there.
Its literally just "minor filmaker made a documentary got insanely good reception and it blew up", so Blizzard is using this to ride a wave of goodwill that they can then use up with shit like the new Brontosaur mount.

I still remember when rolling Alliance meant playing the fags and casuals, while Horde was where all the cool kids hung out. I honestly blame the writers for repeatedly cucking over the characters to the point where there really was no 'cool' faction anymore, they were both equally lame but at least with Alliance you had nicer places to afk.

Seriously, Org is just a shithole and all the other capitals are empty. They should've moved the main Horde capital to Suramar or raised Azshara from the sea and turned the lights back on.

The only mistake they made was not kicking people who were clearly not pulling their weight and didn't even try, those people are just wasting everyone else's time
The good players tried to help the worse ones and gave them advice but it all fell on deaf ears, people playing the same specs as good players are often competing with tanks in DPS
So the good players actually trying had basically 3 choices:
>stay wiping on HC Queen forever and wasting 2 evenings per week
>cut the raid down so that only the competent players attempt to kill HC Queen
>don't show up to the raid in which case it falls apart and they end up hard stuck on Brood/Princess
The rest of the raid roster were given more chances than they would get anywhere else

For months when MoP released, no one knew of anyone who could land either Galleon or the Sha's mount. Normal, it's a super rare mount, but then the playerbase started going through the logs and it wasn't no one you knew - it was LITERALLY NO ONE had the mount. They didn't drop. Blizzard had fucked the tables. For months and months players had been using their bonus rolls that should have been using on prog loot bosses hoping for the mount, but they were being scammed every single time because it was genuinely impossible to get the mount
This all came to a head on the forums where players rioted about the logs showing no one had ever gotten the mount, to which a day or two later the first mounts ever "suddenly" started dropping
Blizzard never acknowledged they fucked the tables and as an active player who wasted said rolls it still pisses me off to this day

Had a weird dream about WoW last night..

I’ve just come back from work. As I open the door, I notice that there are at least a dozen razer headsets in the hallway. I find this quite strange. Obviously I have guests over, but I never expected them.

I go upstairs, and I see pretty much the entire Echo roster that got mythic WF Fyrrak. They all give me high fives, shake my hand, talk with me and make me feel quite special. Though when I try to get into my bedroom,Meeres tells me that he doesn’t think it’s a good idea. I laugh it off and just go through anyway, as I would like to change from my work clothes.

I go into my bedroom and I see Kush in nothing but a towel with a video recorder in his hand. He’s recording Gingi having sex with my girlfriend (missionary).

In my dream, I put my hand on Gingi's shoulder from behind and tell him, “mate, I think that’s enough”.

He responds with “My friend, is ok, no?”

I tell him that it’s definitely not OK.

At this point my girlfriend Emily doesn’t even acknowledge my existence. Rogerbrown comes in and gets me into a full nelson and drags me out of the room. I have been manhandled, ridiculed and disrespected in my own property, by people that I once looked up to.

I’m sitting at the bottom of my stairs, quite bemused. The doorbell rings. I open the door, it’s Scripe. Finally, a man of such respect, regard and authority would restore order in my own household. I approach him, congratulate him on the WF and then go on to explain what has been happening upstairs. He has a trademark smirk on his face and tells me he will take care of it. He practically bypasses the orderly queue formed outside of my bedroom and enters as Kush and Gingi walk out.

Then the next 30 minutes are just followed by loud thumps and squeaking which clearly shows that he was just as bad of the rest of them.

At this point, I woke up because of my alarm. But as I was in the shower I was like what the fuck did I just dream about.

Turns out, he was the same Derek. We both kind of laughed about it—how small the world could be, even in Azeroth. It was strange, but we kept raiding together. He became more than just a guildmate. He took on a new role, both in-game and out. And somehow, in both realms, I found my place.

It's insane to me that mists was considered the easiest key during shadowlands yet now I dread doing it just because of the maze (people no longer use the fucking addon for it) AND the 2nd boss where tanks never interrupt patty cake.

Somehow it went from comfy kino in shadowlands to oh my god can you please just fucking dodge the balls or pass the 10 iq test. I'm not even sure what changed, hell you dont even have to fucking deal with affixes anymore.

on an AI image there is no such intention, the AI is just throwing stuff together and isn't trying to communicate anything

you're not going to see it in town a whole lot. with the permanent mail box and then with warband and cross realm guilds for realm flips and storage it means many non-work order traders don't have to be in town. you wouldn't really know for sure without being on the ah all the time yourself but most of the original owners you actually see really are ah no lifers posting or trading tons of stuff. it's not someone doing a few things it's people that are around for easily 20+ hours a week.

i think it's safe to assume with the power gap that some other 2 month tender or promotional mailboxless one will be coming soon after this leaves. that you'll see more of as alternate affordable town camper/quick shopper item.

some people are jerks but it's not like the game sets it up for success. i was using it with my second account and the first time i couldn't even find myself standing beside after alt tabbing. add in the afk timeout and it's no wonder people move on others. default max zoom is bad for its size since it can wash the default player names pretty well. the max view dynamic flight in general is bad while we're at it.

what they have as a plot device is the unspecified number of dracthyr still being freed in the forbidden reach while Earthen have the Awakening Machine

i haven't got to it yet in tww but i played about 3/5 of the specs in df and it's relatively straightforward. shouldn't be a big deal for anyone who's played anything else and if you're new it shouldn't be very hard. mage is maybe a little tougher in that situation but it's only because there are a lot of tanky or tanky pet specs that you have to almost try to get in trouble and die on.

I want to say it was League, but there was one of those games where the playerbase are just endlessly whiny cunts. And one day the devs just went "fuck it" and put out a fake patch update that did nothing, but they told everyone that they had reduced lag significantly, and altered the in-game displays to show good ping numbers. Everyone lost their minds praising how good the patch was and how much better the game felt with better ping.
All of this to say.
