Grinding Mausoleum is actually shockingly decent exp, even at 41. My leveled party gets 1k~ per fight, my PriestMC at 14 gets 3-4k~ per fight. Everything dies pretty instantly, and I get bones. Not bad.

I think Mausoleum is actually leveled based on your story progression, I know I went there fairly early upon unlocking it and it feels a lot harder now

Man, the 4th Arena boss is brutal. My entire party's dead at 0-20 Fortitude now. His debuff resistances are all stupid high and he seems to have this behavior on his multi-turn casts where he focuses down targets until they're dead. I might be able to just spam Line/All Cover, but even with a Defense Up cast no Knight can survive 3 goddamn attacks in a row.

When he activates a stance that is when he does a multi attack as you've seen you have to actually use defend.
your priest casts defense up on the line, knight uses self defense to boost her defenses (yes they stack) by the time he activates his first stance your knight should have porto on her for the increase action speed.
Delay attack to setup incase your character is a bit too slow after he declares a stance.
After that just tank and spank.

Whatever the main stat for their class is. The help section under settings will give you an idea.
In addition to that, SPD is good on mages/priests and VIT is good on the frontline.

intredastin. I don't think Rickert mentioned anything when I tried talking to her while flipping the 1F switch. I'll try talking to the NPCs in town to see what this is. Also wasn't aware that separate sources for the same stat-up stack, thanks for the heads up. Delay Attack seemed to either miss or just not proc at all despite DEXmaxxing.

I don't think DoE is worth farming unless you're stuck in the second dungeon and need the earth damage / resist
Steel is comparable stat wise and the drop rate is way better

If you haven't killed Helmut the first time then when you do you'll be given a chance after when you meet lulu again.
Otherwise you have to rewind if possible allllll the way back to when you first meet lulu if thats even possible i haven't checked myself.
As far as i know that's the only opportunity you're given to change your name.

Well, it worked.
Enemies weren't really as hard to kill as they were dangerous due to instakill.
It was almost over when someone with 1 mentality died to a Vorpal Bunny but I miraculously succedeed the QTE

I think so because the centaur generally only spawns in this section of the map so you can go around him by going ?left? and reach the chest

So, I saved Albano and got his bondmate but didn't get the LUK lantern. One thing that happened is some of the defenders died, and it could have been prevented if we had some way of magically strengthening them? Not sure what I missed here, didn't see any requests related to that. Guessing I have to do it for the lantern? Man not looking forward to fighting Helmut again, dude is super tanky.

I don't have the LUK lantern, but the rest of the guiding lights don't reset. But there's no need to think too hard, the all lights except LUK can only be used in 1 location and using the lights gives mind pearls so you do want to unlock as many areas as possible.

People thinking that the obaa-san passive of recovering SP is superflous will thirst for it first.

Regardless, I had a lot of fun dealing with the puzzle shenanigans regarding timed currents. Not so much fun with the timed submerged ones; people unprepared will be wiped over and over.

This is one of those games that absolutely HATES the idea of mages being anything more than glass cannons. Every class that isn't Priest gets a massive penalty to magic, and mage gets a massive penalty to attack.

Color does matter because a revealed roll will get a stat increase when it reaches its milestone
A green with +atk will have more +atk then a white that rolled atk when they both hit +5
the strength is determined by stars, a *2 green sword might only have +4 atk while a 4* green sword could have like, +8 atk baseline

if you already know what the stat is the stat grows when it hits 5/10/15
if you dont know it unlocks the stat
however star rairty effects how much that stats going to grow.
so if you had a 1star green with for example def +2
you hit 5 its def+4-5
if its a white it unlocks the def +2
however if its higher rarity like 3 stars the stat it unlocks could be like def +3-5

ideally you want a high star with every perk unlocked even if they are bad perks. then you swap those perks to ones you want. then start leveling it.

Honestly, with how slow they are with addressing and fixing bugs, people abusing them is literally their fault.

They don't even put out any announcements saying "X is currently bugged, any form of abuse of this bug until it is fixed may result in suspension"

If I end up getting banned for something that has been known for like a week now, then I'll be fine with it. The game is pretty fun, but it's pretty obvious the devs are severely incompetent with how buggy the game is and how slow they are to fix or address them.

I think setting a stern precedent against “exploit early, exploit often” is healthy for the game. I remember grinding out one specific event in Gran Turismo 7 that let you bring an F-Zero fantasy car onto Tokyo Expressway (with a bugged tuning making it appear to the game as underpowered) and it gave out 4x the cash of anything else in the game for essentially playing laps of endurance bumper cars at 200 MPH.

On top of that, the way you can pay to reduce the grind (to open all 3 chests) made it seem like it was intentional to make it easier to get dupes for 3/4 stars and for inheriting into other characters.

Ultimately, like I said, I'll be fine with getting banned.
no matter how you look at it, it's really their fault for not addressing things in a timely manner. I don't think these devs are suited for live service games, which can have game breaking bugs that might need fixed or killswitched ASAP.

i remember back when pokemon masters ex launched, the devs fucked up and made a legendary character have a 100% appearance rate in the gacha, and that shit was fixed in under 5 minutes. they even let the people who rolled tons of copies keep them.

Thief was the only one that dropped infinitely, none of the others did unless it was only temporarily bugged and somehow fixed before the Thief mausoleum. The one guy who claimed Mage/Knight also dropped infinitely as "proof" that it wasn't a bug got asked to post multiple drops from it as proof, said he was going to do it and then proceeded to disappear after he realized they don't. Other anons then tried it in case he was right he just hadn't had time to do it yet and not because he was wrong.

I would immediately stop the mausoleum farm. Japanese gacha devs aren't spineless like koreans or chinese that would dogeza and let you keep you all AND give everyone a compensation. They would just straight up:
- take everything you exploited
- delete whatever character you used the dupes on
- ban your account for X amount of weeks/months

I think this is the real suspicious one.
Why even bother adding a 1 hour 'buff' if you can clear the dungeon in like 10 mins assuming you're a whale and have the guide to prevent one shots. Such an account would get all the bones in 2~3 runs and in a matter of mins, not hours it's a nonsensical repeat purchase if the drops were 1 time only.

If you have bugged bones but never used them yea obviously you won't get banned, or if you accidentally used them but didn't try to abuse it by using them for skill inheritance/dismissed for guild tags. The bones in question are completely different from bones from whaling though, so it's not like trying to pretend you whaled cash for them since it's purely from farming. Actual whales probably wouldn't farm for them either since farming for them is both incredibly tedious and obnoxious, and the whale buff that's supposed to help you farm actually makes farming harder.
More realistically they won't ban everyone, if they're at all competent (lol) they'd just ban anyone who used more than like 10x-20x of the units (not the bones) as skill-fodder or dismissal fodder. And everyone else just gets theirs retrieved, if they're short any from skill inheritance or dismissal then they'd be put in debt

Man one handed maces are just worthless. Clerics just don't have the strength to overcome defense without two handers. And they only get one hit, to boot. Shields aren't even close to making up the difference.

It's a pretty reasonable thing for someone to farm it, especially once they get walled by bronze tags, hell its reasonable to think you're supposed to do this in order to progress.
There's little reason for someone to think it's not working as intended. Or rather they'll probably think the rng is fucked up because it keeps giving them bp5 Amelias instead of the thief they want.

When I cleared mage I used the buff. It seemed like each 'wing' of the tomb had a set of 3 doors, and the bone was in one of those 3, the other two had junk. So it looks like it's structured so you have a rough 1/3 chance to get a bone, but if you have the buff you'll probably get it. It's still a very nonsensical buff if you aren't meant to go in multiple times.

it isn't a matter of "the player is above all the most important" culture that you may be used to: in Japan, individual responsibility is a thing. Their whole country works in a different way than most cultures, and this whole game community is >95% japanese. People will get banned or have their bones taken off even if they are singles. At most (being generous here) they would let you get away with 3 bones since you may actually have been mistakenly taking advantage of it, but that is with them being very gentle with this matter, but seeing how good they have done this month, I doubt it'll be this way at all.
Once more: do not exploit bugs in japanese games, you will be banned yes or yes. These people don't come from a generation of gacha development, this whole game exists the way it is because it's done by old people, with "old" conducts.

I would argue the opposite, if you don't have the buff you can dodge all the scary fights, having the buff adds extra bosses that you're not allowed to run from. The buff only makes sense if there's a point to maximizing a single-run. If you' maximizing a single run isn't important you can just do multiple safe runs the buff is kind of pointless, unless you value your time that much, though in that case if you're willing to spend gems on it you'd probably be alot better off just spending gems in the gacha for the sake of your sanity instead of buying gems for that buff over and over again

Extreme doubt. The mausoleum already has anti-cheat built into it. If you clip through a wall into a locked room to open an extra chest without paying 100 gems, your game will error upon interacting with the chest.

Ive managed to beat this guy so far. It was understandably, quite easy once i stopped being dumb and just used defend and heal. Currently throwing myself at the ent and it seems sort of doable. Would be nice to beat him without just grinding levels but he does a bit too much damage to properly mitigate. Considering rolling for Gerard so i can try to paralyze luck cheese stuff later. Once larger enemy groups show up im fucked though.

The grasslands are so ass. I'm trying to find the third thief, but there are no landmarks with just two trees. I mean, there are, but those two were south of where the passing adventurer was (and who apparently despawns if you go up north enough to hit where the peddler is).

Solo just seems impossible to get past basic milestones like the rank up event. If you could level infinitely it could work, but being locked at level 20, I mean you'd need full anti-undead gear and insane defense to even tank enough hits to take down the mobs, let alone the boss.

It's not a 6 skill limit, but each inherited skill can only level up 6 times, with the exception of the stat passive generics give. Those can be leveled up 14 times I think.
My passive skill list is already longer than what a single screen can show and I haven't even leveled the knight class yet.

Their cover skills are useful when you see an enemy prepare to do a one shot, particularly if it's an archer hiding behind the back.
They don't have much in the way of damage, but I find that they can soak up quite a bit of damage due to their def.
Stun spam is also pretty useful if you get lucky.

I didn't put any speed in my Amelia and she still outspeeds everything in the game. I think stats even out, at level 40 I'm at 49 speed and 34 str, and I put 4 points in str to start.

I've put no points into STR and she pretty much one-shots high priority targets like mages or high evasion enemies in the back row just fine. The DEX scaling on her abilities can save your life sometimes

Yeah, that's how it was in 3e. Hit chance was based on dex, actual damage was based on strength unless the weapon had finesse (basically daggers)

But it had a lot more number crunching and rolls so they simplified a lot of stuff. 5e is also their most successful edition, so it pays to be wrong I guess

Grinding was actually sorta fun, even if they're taking my thieves away in the end.
