There isn't anything else except Microsoft Flight Simulator '20 for me. But it's not something you can just try, it's a hellish installation effort by itself.
Everything else has been cracked etc so I don't really bother.
If you haven't played it yet, you should try Insurgency Sandstorm, it's really good but too bad the population is pretty low and the maps are quite repetitive too.

On what fucking planet is this campaign a 9/10. I gave up after the shit D.C union station level. Graphically the games impressive but bullet spongey "boss" enemy and a bunch of literal who characters Adler still being alive just isnt memorable.

Apparently I have different opinions on what unplayable is compared to my friends. I'm getting random packet bursts where everything in game stops for a second then rubber bands to catch up. I'm getting occasional crashes mostly when loading into a game. I've gotten at 2 black screens on load in too. To me this makes a game unplayable. Kind of like going to a movie theater and sitting in a wet chair. Sure I can still watch the movie but why the ever loving fuck would I? The beta was better than this...

I like this game, multiplayer feels nice and crisp. Feels like bo2 where even if you get shot at first you can win the gun dight if the enemy has shit aim. Maybe I league play grind this, back in bo2 you could never really get league play masters top 10 rank because of non stop ddosing.

Unless you're using a zen or third party cheat controller is going to be painful. My zen stopped working after putting something like 1400 hours on it and I instantly could tell. Aim Assist is only Aim Bot when it's a literal Aim bot. I'm still on the wait list after 2 months and I refuse to buy off ebay.

I think you should find some guides on youtube.
You still need to learn the muscle control and how to do micro adjustments, and proper ergonomy no matter what anyone on this thread says.
Also use your middle finger on triggers etc.

Yes, lots of translucency and PBR material effects are missing with medium shaders.
ex. picrel is a skin from MWIII that changes the gun to be made of marble, which made it more reflective as well as slightly soft/translucent. With Medium shaders the marble parts just look like they're flat paint with no translucency.

My last COD was MW2019 and was kinda looking forward to getting back into it this time around. Well, that was short lived.

It’s basically the same game it’s always been: A twitch shooter designed to just drip-feed you small hits of dopamine, intertwined with a constant baseline level of frustration.

Playing this game feels like what I imagine a hamster on a wheel feels like; No thought, just effort, towards accomplishing a goal that is ultimately meaningless. Every finished match is accompanied by the nagging realization that my time was wasted.

If you have an old video card you can potentially end up with huge performance hits if you or other people in the lobby are using a gun skin that has a lot of translucency effects.
If you have a more modern card then you'll be fine.
Ex. this skin would drop me from ~80 to ~30 FPS whenever I was reloading or ADS when I still had an RX 580, but I recently upgraded to an RX 6750 XT and now there's no FPS change regardless of how much/little the gun model is taking up of my screen.

I remember having fun in bloops cold war despite the issues. But this one just feels sauceless and bland. The maps and spawns are the worst it's ever been too in a game where that's always been an issue. I'm 30 minutes into day 2 of the game and I'm already just quitting out of half the maps in the game if they come up like that desert one where you can just get spawn trapped infinitely or the hangar which is just shipment but gayer.

Also I can't really fathom being one of the biggest game devs in the universe with basically infinite resources and only releasing with 6v6 maps. Like how bad is the management at activision?

If you're doing Terminus blind you're going to have a hard time. One of the steps is EXCEEDINGLY niche.

The one tip I will give you is that the wonderweapon is required for main EE as well as some sidequests, and that Dead Wire is required for all but one of the sidequests.

Make sure you're T3 PAP'd for the finale if you reach it.

LMGs are good for the last encounter and for late rounds because of the ammo count, Sally is good for round clears if you have Ph.D, honestly you can't go wrong with the XMG or any other gold rarity LMG. The AMES is good for early rounds, so is the XM4.

I looked up what people were saying and it was mostly complaining about spawns and maps being terrible dogshit. Only a couple posts complaining about the non-existent sound design where you can't hear someone walking 2 feet behind you but you can hear them across the map.

The lighting in this game is all fucked up and its extremely hard to make out enemies. Also there's way too much flinch and the penalties for even moving when shooting are insane. Modern warfare 3 was 100x better than this trash. Thank fuck I already pay for gamepass because I haven't had this much regret since black ops cold war which was better than this but still fucking awful. Treyarch need to be dismantled. Last COD I played for more than 1 hour was Cold War which had plenty of dumb shit in it but this feels like such a downgrade. It's crazy how lazy and tacked on MP feels.

Nah mw3 was the best cod in years. Totally focused on gameplay and was very smooth and the maps were amazing because they were mw2 maps. The guns felt great, movement was amazing, hit detection was amazing, TTK was perfect, spawns were good etc. It actually encouraged people to fight each other with no random movement penalties because you climbed over a 2 foot high box which fucked up your ADS and crosshair spread like in bo6. I just camp in corners and farm kills in bo6 now because even slightly moving means either someone will spawn behind or some dumb shit like that.

Is it just me or is there latency before every action? Whether its aiming or even reloading. There's like half a second of latency which makes the game feel clunky as fuck. I dunno if it's because of the new movement which causes a delay or something but it's really jarring.

Also why do the sights take up like 60% of the screen when you aim? Regardless of a red dot or iron sight. The gun feels a bit too close to the camera when aiming.

I've noticed that having low latency really fucking punishes you in this game, where you die in like 2 milliseconds but it takes you like 5 seconds to kill any enemy. I got new fiber recently from a new provider in my city and I guess they have very few subscribers because my latency in cod is literally 1-2ms in game, and in mw3 it felt crisp and I had no issues but in this game I feel like I'm being punished by having a better connection almost like my enemies bullet tracking is perfect when they're shooting at me but when I shoot at them on their 25ms latency it doesn't register my bullets properly. It gives me black ops 1 vibes where the net code was complete dogshit.

Damn, I remember the last GOOD infinity ward game I played was cod ghosts. At the time everyone hated the game but I loved it. I was at my peak gaming at the time playing UMG and MLG ladder matches and getting to play vs some pros like clayster, teepee, parasite, etc.

I think I've proven my theory correct because I got into a match with 10ms ping and man, the hit detection felt wayyyyy better than when it's at 2ms ping. The game must have some kind of compensation thing going on so players with low ping don't have an advantage, even though that's not our fault we have good Internet.

More generally my one wish for Zombies would be it going back to being more intense and "grounded" like it was in Blops 1 instead of being "arcade-y" bullshit with health bars and damage numbers and shit. I miss Kino der Toten and the days when getting a ray gun or a pap felt like a cool achievement rather than just underwhelming grindy bullshit you can't appreciate because there's no real sense of rhythm to the rounds. Also the absurdity of Five as a concept and JFK shooting zombies, but the premise still being played more straight than the Looney Tunes bullshit Zombies and CoD in general are now. But I know we'll never go back to those days.

The TTK in this game is way too high more like. Having an extended mag is basically compulsory now because of how long it takes to kill and because you'll always run into at least 2 people at a time. TTK in bo6 is way longer than mw3.

Everything about this game is wrong. The recoil patterns on guns are insane so it makes you lower your sensitivity to compensate, but then the movement is retarded so it makes it hard to track enemies. I used to play on 16 sens on mw3, i had to cut that down to 10 on bo6 but shots are still way harder to hit at range and the flinch causes your aim to fuck off into the stratosphere anyway.

I stopped playing CoD after Ghosts came out because it was straight ass. Migrated to battlefield and then came back for Warzone. I ended up buying MW2 which was my first CoD after a decade. It was a fun game, fun enough for me to grind out the came challenges and actually want to put my time into it. Same for MW3 (which was just MW2 without any of the tactical shit which slowed the gameplay down). I think I'm going to abandon the series againt because of Black Ops 6. Not even Ghosts was this bad. The maps are god awful and the servers are straight ass.

I played a few rounds of bocw at my cousins a few years back and I didn't like the feel of that either, and at the time I think I posted here about it and the excuse was that it was on the old engine which made it feel janky compared to the mechanics of the previous years modern warfare game. Treyarch are finished imo. Mw2 and mw3 get some hate here from what I've seen but at least they were serviceable once you got used to them and they had a ton of variety to work with from the game modes like having ground war, to gun selection like the JAK selection of guns which were cool to grind and try out. BO6 game was in development longer than those games combined but has much less content, is much less refined, and what little it does have is pretty garbage such as the mp maps and zombies.

Also some maps are heavily favourable to one spawn side which makes them easy to spawn trap, like on scud if you spawn behind the dish in domination you're basically fucked because the enemies can literally walk right up to the spawn and kill you without consequence.

In my opinion they are so small that I barely have the time to reposition or even spawn without having someone being a few meters from me. I know they wanted players to get into firefights much quicker, but they could have at least improved the layout of the maps. It's so suffocating and unpredictable at times.

Yeah. Especially sideways/diagonal movement is issue. People can skip between shots.
Is it a tick rate issue or something but it has existes for years now. MW2 wasn't that noticeable because people died pretty quickly.
This issue is most noticeable when you get into the eomm punishment lobbies. Nothing registers because the enemy has permanent connection advantage (server side) to you or something.

Server providers are the same bunch of companies around this planet. They have a network of server infrastructure around every region.
You don't even know how the matchmaking physically works, don't speak about "shit servers" because they are the same they have always been.
Every time you are in a lobby the match is routed to a different region. Every people in the lobby connects via different regions to always changing server location.
This is the biggest issue. Routing.
You can analyse your own connections with Netlimiter or some other networking tool. It was very revealing I can tell you that.

Whatever little tests some faggot youtubers like Ace, Driftor and some other have done and published results about are not valid because they didn't incorporate the lobby IP location. Physical location changes almost every single match. This is maybe more meaningful than the latency itself.

Each lobby location is dynamically constructed based on the players' location (and these all connect from different physical locations, across regions based on their eomm skill ratings and whatnot).
Physical connection quality and low latency is not a priority on any level here. It can look like this if you live next to some area and generally have low latency but most likely it will still change quite a bit.

Any ideas? I've been trying to download this game for like 2 hours now. I even went through the MS store to try and get it but it only got a little in then errored out. I downloaded a couple other games to see if its my pc but they downloaded fine, it is literally just COD. God the Xbox app is such a piece of shit.

Both mw2 and mw3 have better multiplayer graphics than this game. Hell, bocw does too. 4 years though. I bet we'll find out one day that the game was rebooted after 2 years so they only had a short time to actually develop it. With that being said, mw3 had like a years dev cycle and is still the better game. Granted it built on mw22 and the maps are all remakes of existing designs. But still, 4 year dev time for this pile of poo makes you feel like something went terribly wrong at some point. I mean how can you have 4 entire years to design the spawn system and still manage to fuck it up? Just steal the code from infinity ward or something. It's all the same engine.

If they add a nuketown 24 playlist like they did in bocw nobody will touch normal rotation ever again. Nuketown is the only thing that can save this game right now because literally everyone is complaining about how awful the maps are.

I've only played bo6 for 2 nights after work but I'm noticing the weapons feel off. Kinda "dinky" or something. It's hard to tell the difference between many of the automatic weapons. Anyone else just feel underwhelmed?

Yes. The hit detection also feels weird, hard to describe, like the bullets take their sweet ass time to travel, the shooting doesnt feel impactful enough

I've noticed there's no audio cue for when a teammate or enemy readies a lethal or tactical grenade. In mw3 you can hear them pull the pin and you can also hear when the grenade is bouncing on the floor. Bo6 doesn't have that which is really fucking annoying because I keep getting flashed from fucking nowhere when in mw3 you can at least hear it coming and turn away. At least there's still a visual grenade indicator but it's still such an oversight.
