Does NG+ improve the junk drops you get in the Abyss? I want iron equipment for the rank up exam but I'm really only finding those in Den of Earth.
Hopefully that's just because I'm on the higher floors

Bro I can not for the life of me get the game to let me give the defenders light shield.

I've tried restarting from the beginning, getting to the large harkstone, then doing the shield quest.

I've tried doing the shield quest before getting to the large harkstone.

I've tried just going forward past the large harkstone and getting the the ceiling collapse event.
I've talked to the defenders, I've talked to the knight dude, I talked to his lackies.

Nothing works, I've never get the prompt to hand over the shields. Does anyone have a full proof way to do this? Is it possible on NG+ or do I need to wait until NG+2?

The "lock" feature on equipment seems like it can bug out depending on things. After which this will happen when you equip them in battle.
I think it's if the item ends up being both locked and unlocked at the same time or something.

I just got the prompt for that by doing the quest as soon as it popped up and then restoring the Harken afterwards. The commander asks you what your intentions for sending them were, you can choose to give them to the defenders or the craftsmen

When you completed the shield quest, did you tell them to send it to the soldiers? From what I recall I arrived at the large harken, fixed it, then it told me the shields had just been delivered and gave me the option of who to give it to there.

There could be a hidden "turn" mechanic where everyone can only act once per cycle. That would explain the double turns, which only seem to happen for your slowest characters who act last and only once while the buff is stays up.

Not all junk is the same.
Some junk literally cannot give it out.
The one you want is Waterway Fey XXXX.
The basic waterway I think are limited to blue/***
You can check the 'drop rate' on the junk when at the ruins.

If you know you're going to win against Helmut, why would you risk it with a pickaxe? Just speed up the MC and reverse the rocks. Less buggy that way.

Lanavaille the knight girl will make early game easier.
Alice the creepy head with the floating heads has a passive that will probably stay useful forever.
Yekaterina the one with the skeleton dude will save your ass from ambushes.
Debra the beast girl with a skull mask can spam her skills as long as you one-shot.
You don't necessarily need to reroll since with the 20-rolls given for free you can get at least one SSR if you aren't a lucklet, and you have a SSR free selector too.

The SSRs have nice passives or skills, but otherwise they're not a huge jump in power compared to the SRs. None of them stand out as seriously better than the others either, they each have their strengths.

At some point a guy in the dungeon will offer you a free selector, you don't have to get it from him right away he'll wait for you.

I got two turns in a row against the lvl 1 shitter trio when doing NG+ even with no buffs
Not sure if there's like a hidden speed penalty for multiple turns though because you definitely don't see it at all in normal combat even when you have a super speedy character unless you do stuff like Porto on a Thief while also odebuffing enemy speed

the big three are alice, yeka, and adam since they have a special aoe they can use if in the middle party slot.

I didn't notice that the MC had learnt that skill mid-battle. Because it crashed first.
But yeah. I won now. And I actually think I would have won even without even moving the rocks. With two spellcasters, a bow user, and two spear users. So everyone but me could reach behind the rocks anyway.

But yeah. I won!
Entire dungeon. No deaths! I am happy.

Yeah, it's tedious. I had to skip back and forth because the damn herb request didn't show up when I was trying to do a straight run to fix a few fuck ups and apparently that might have fucked my albano progress, beginning abyss constantly scaling level with you so you can't just curb stomp it doesn't help either.

Has anyone actually gotten this supposed Albano bondmate?

I'd rather they limit the mausoleum to one floor a day but you can pay gems to explore other floors. In exchange, you can open all the doors in a single run and there are also no inescapable centaur fights. Actually paying gems at the moment just seems a terrible deal

Is that widescreen anon still playing this?

Has anyone else been able to get this game working with widescreen at a correct resolution? Everything I've tried results either in correct aspect-ratio with blurry resolution or high resolution with all this stretching. Bluestacks built in rotation for the former and the Rotation Control on the playstore for the latter.

Does anyone know from which point you can timetravel to properly save Albano?

I tried to set his status as reconciled with the uncle before teleporting to after the king is saved, but he doesn't show up in the outskirts.

I then tried teleporting to the b8 event and kill Helmut again, but I somehow got a bad ending, or Albano wasn't considered alive?

I already killed helmut like 3 times, wtf are you supposed to do to properly save this fucker and get the luck lamp.

This is because you went to a place without a tavern, like the tombs.

The game checks for a tavern event at the tombs, flags it so you'll see the cutscene, and then the character goes to the tombs tavern. Except there are only taverns in port town and the capital, so all that you actually get is the cutscene but they don't spawn at the tavern because there is no tavern.

If you're autistic level up bonus point 9 alice and merge your (assumed) lower BP alice into her so you can set the stats exactly to your liking. If not just merge into your current alice and let the extra stats get randomly allocated, it probably doesn't matter at all. Trying to find some kind of perfect bonus point allocation in the first place is probably completely pointless because lots of levels and powercreep.

Personally I'm team autism and I hate it but it is how it is. If you are asking if merge alice or give to someone else, buffs are really good so personally I would merge, but if merging to someone else give it to a thief because they are good debuffers.

Insane prices, but there's no real difference in performance between SRs and SSRs besides some QOL passives for the latter. No real point in spending money, but I still picked up a $5 just to show my support. Currency gain is absolute dogshit at the moment though we're not yet sure on how they'll handle events. You can farm all of the SR units but SSR can only be had from the gacha or freebies. Shop bundles and currency are also very expensive.

Wouldn't merging alice level up her skill so that buffs/debuffs last an extra round? I've never merged alice so I don't actually know, I just assumed. The only SSR I merged is lana, and it leveled up her healing. My assumption was you could get an extra round out of her buffs, apologies if I'm wrong. I should of mentioned that in my original post. Everyone says you can kill everything on B8F go to a fountain and then return to fight the ents/Helmut because they won't respawn, but it looks like they can respawn under certain conditions. Rise again and closing the game maybe.

I killed everything I could find once, walking around each area to try and get everything then went to the B3F fountain and returned. Found 1 enemy on the way, but since that was the only encounter I probably just missed it the first time.
MC died to a 130x2 Chop, so I revived and won the next round, but easily found more enemies on the way to the B7F fountain. Still had mp/sp, so once again killed everything I found spending time in each spot to try and get them all.
Update hit and back in B8F and once again, easily found new enemies on the way to Helmut.

I think enemies respawn over a long enough in-game time, and obviously they respawn if you head to town. Still, clearing and then using Fountain is still ideal. You also need to learn how to detect and spot enemies so they stay on your map so you can juke them.

You can't merge Alice at all
Only Lana can merge because only Lana has an alt which is what merging is for.
When Alice gets an alt then she'll get merge.
What everyone can do is discipline but that's a bit different in that xp and bonus points aren't carried over because you're literally just consuming the dupe to fill a skill xp bar.

Right now, probably yes since only have a few SSR.
SSR rate is also 5%.
You get 1 SSR selector and 20 free rolls.
We've also just had a release campaign with login bonuses that gave you another SSR, and also combined with early game rewards, would total enough for about 24 rolls.
I actually have every single SSR right now. Except for one alternative outfit version and a new furry character that was released recently

You get nothing for killing both and they're rape tier since your gear and skills won't be up to par.
If you manage to win congrats but, if you don't it is far better to progress in the story instead of trolling yourself into thinking you need to kill both for the best ending.

My B3F fountain trip included detour around B1F for fun and there's no way the B7F fountain would've been longer than that journey. It couldn't have been sequential respawning either because there's 2 or 3 enemies per room and I did most of the fighting on the way in. Also the lone enemy I found while going to the ents that I consider an outlier was on the west side of the map.
Unless the game just respawns them wherever.

Hold on, when's that Vernant root thing supposed to trigger? I already did the tavern quest but now Elmon's under some rocks. I also noticed that the roots weren't in my valuable items inventory, but the defender shields weren't there after that quest and that event went fine. Haven't accepted death and haven't used the cursed wheel besides the forced one for the story. I read that Vernant's supposed to make a potion and the defenders save Elmon from the rocks, did the game kill them during the cursed wheel tutorial even though I saved them because it doesn't matter if Elmon now?

Has anyone cleared the second dungeon without taking the Bronze exam first? I'm starting to stretch my gold reserves pretty thin from buying all these scrolls just to get to each floor's Harken and still haven't cleared the ship's second floor. Maybe I should start grinding the Earth den just for unification materials, all of my frontliners' weapons are still capped at +5. I just wish the Earth Junk drop rate in there wasn't so low compared to ores, I've got like 100 of the goddamn things but only 3 Earth weapons.

It's pretty frustrating that they're the same strength as Bronze weapons and that Mausoleums have a mix of Undead and not-Undead enemies, but swapping weapons doesn't even take up a turn so it's not like there's much to complain about besides dealing with having to navigate menus constantly.

1st deck harken doesnt even work for me. I had to skip it. Also, to clear the second deck you need to do a mini quest that has you fight 3 groups. Add that to the mobs who are also underwater and it becomes a pain in the ass. theres a chef on the second deck that sells you food for 750g that restores MPHPSP but its on a timer or something

upgrade it to +4 and have them normal attack the rocks.
they will swing multiple times and break the rocks in one turn. then once the rock is broken, reverse the debris to stun helmut

Because it's not the pickaxe that's buggy, apparently it happens if your weapons are locked so unlock your weapons and avoid it completely. You can also avoid the fight restart if you don't click the "go to title" button and instead close and relaunch the game.
Breaking 1 rock and getting a stun out of it takes about the same time as reversing two, so might as well get the stun. Even better if you're able to break a rock in 1 attack, so you might as well break both and get some damage too.

Finally got my hands on a steel and earth piece of the same slot, identical stat totals but earth has a better spread + water reduction
Thinking earth is the gear you want to get a good base for and use your blacksmithing stones on, but if you get a really good steel it wouldn't be terrible to invest in

It's annoying but I just dip and enter again to respawn the chests when the chests spawns in an annoying place with too many enemies or in a place where autopathing gets disabled by the currents.

I start from 4th floor harken and move my way down to the entrance of 3rd floor and grab any chests that is along the way or not too far.

After reaching 3rd floor, I grab any chests that doesn't require me to fight too many enemies. Or just dip and try again if chests spawn in undesirable locations.

So far my characters have died more times that I am comfortable with but not once did reviving them fail after I waited for their fortitude to fully recharge (although apparently having it over halfway full is enough).

EOS won't happen anytime soon. Games like this must be doing EXTREMELY bad financially to EOS, which rarely ever happens. 90% of eos only happen because devs give western publishing to some corporation that will give up on the game as soon as it's not hugely profitable even if it's still well in the green. Also because servers are different so there is nothing holding them back from cuttings off the less successful branch of the game.
Neither of those two are applicable for us so eos is very unlikely for at least 3-5 years, and that's on the very extreme side. The game will almost definitely make it well over 5 years just because of Japan.

I don't go out of my way to slay mobs, I just farm for chests in green areas (no mobs) and yellow areas where its doesn't have too many enemies. I am lvl 39 so I kill mobs in a few taps if I get them anyway when autopathing.

Not entirely sure how stats work right now.
I took some screenshots from my characters leveling up, from what I can see, when my Adam got to level 28, his VIT stayed the same and his hp went up by 5.
Then when he got 29, his VIT went up 1 but his hp also only went up by 5.
But I guess that one specific scenario you asked could just be tested with some dupes before you fodder them.

So I can gather 3 parties for mausoleum spelunking now
I noticed that you can evade the centaur fight if he doesn't spawn in the corridor
Also that you can flee from the undead miniboss that generally guards the door and they'll start patrolling instead of ambushing you on the door

Because thieves are useful for opening chests and avoiding traps, and super Amelia can be built for free and will be better than any SSR they ever add. You can build any other SR thief into a super right now, but Amelia is the go-to because she's cute. The alternative is ignoring thief completely and just stacking those skills onto the protagonist so you can run dual mage instead.

Plenty of people don't, and it's not even confirmed. We have people every thread coming in and going "wait what's this about tomb farming?".

Why are you such a little fucking bitch? Legitimately, because there really isn't much point in doing anything but tomb farming at this point, it's the best time investment and most people have cleared all of the actual content in the game. People going "hey I farmed the thief tomb look at all my bones" is USEFUL information. If I go to bed and I wake up and there are still guys talking about how many bones they're getting, I know it isn't patched yet, I don't have to waste 30 minutes farming and wonder if I'm just getting unlucky with the drops.

Go fuck off somewhere else if you want to talk about what color you think Lana's panties are. If you're stuck on a fucking quest, just ask about it.

Mausoleum opens pretty quickly in NG+, maybe even before you reenter the abyss (or shortly after you get the time rewind, I forget).
It might be a bit tough at 20 without steel, but if you have a mage with a full group nuke you should be fine.

How to beat goblin nest?

If your mage gets popped you just use a revive. You CAN revive 0 fortitude party members if you get lucky with the timing, but dying and using a flame is more likely.

I don't farm the tomb if I run out of flames to avoid getting raped at the church.

I just got my D9 Amelia. I also have a D9 Milana and a D7 Philip. Will probably make Philip a fighter and Milana and mage when their scrolls rotate into the shop... in 6 months or whatever.
Honestly, I wouldn't have farmed this much if not for the immobile enemy bug that would randomly happen, last for hours, and made runs so fucking fast and easy.

The key is spamming Adam/Yeka/Alice super AoE, so you need at least 108+ MP and equips that give tons of magic and speed. My Adam and Yeka were both level 40 and usually one or both super AoE'd each battle.

When you think about it, in the long run, even without the bug, SR adventurers will outstat SSR adventurers due to the sheer amount of dupes you'll get.
It's hard to see how they will balance rolling 1 SSR a year in against your giga stacked SRs short of straight up and massive powercreep.

Perfect as in min-maxed? Well, then you'd need probably like 20 copies to max out discipline, 20 more again to max out her passive, and 20 copies of every other SR thief to max out the other major thief passives. And you'd want to do all of this on a 10 roll with 100 fortitude, with good level up RNG so you'd probably need about 50 10 rolls to get that.

Also you don't need to use the pickaxe yourself, I swapped my fighter's weapon to break one block and use the hand on the other to get a clear view for the next turn and then just swapped the weapon back as it cost nothing thankfully.

The trick is to fight your way all up to Helmut. Then without leaving the dungeon, you retreat back up and use one of the fountains to rest.
Then you delve back down. And since you never fully left the dungeon, most enemies should still be gone. So you should hopefully be able to make your way to Helmut at full strength.

If you somehow get bonked and end up hurt before Helmut. Just retreat all the way back up to the other fountain and try again.
If you somehow end up hurt yet again somehow. Then just retreat altogether and sleep at the inn and try again.

Just promote. I trounced them at level 24, they were good exp too. You can easily clear the entire map by making use of the camp since the enemies won't respawn, it's only two runs but that's plenty to get all the items and to beat the unique encounters. Helps that there's no boss or unique enemy types, just a bunch of high level regular goblins.

Like the quest reward is supposed to only give the green gem currency once, then only gold but I think the albano flower quest is bugged so it keeps giving 50 gems when you kill the mimic on b5 and find the 2 flowers on b3.

Apparently if you beat helmut with everyone alive and in the party (including Albano) you get a luck lantern.

It's fucked though since the flags are bugged so if you time travel to the b8 time with all the choices for Albano having reconciled with his uncle, then kill helmut it still doesn't count as everyone being alive for some reason.

I'm trying to go from the b7 time now and redo the shield, albano quest, and the medicine thing to try to clear it now.

I'll report back if it does actually work and give me the luck lamp.

I ended up somehow getting the albano bondmate teleporting to after rescuing the king, accepting a quest (the b7 undead one) then going to outskirts of town. But I couldn't replicate it to level up his bondmate so idk wtf is going on there

You need to do some quest from the innkeeper to get a sash of smells from b1.

Then when Albano gets the abyss item you can offer to trade the sash for it.

Afterwards you can do some b4 quest and the noble turns out to be Albano's uncle.

He gives you a letter to get Albano out of the party.

So go to the dungeon, then you need to choose not to show the letter to the captain. If Albano leaves then you failed the quest.

Once you get back to town Albano's uncle gives you a quest to find flowers and that's the one with the gimmick b5 mimic fight and finding flowers at b3.

After doing all this on b7 Albano doesn't turn into a monster.

Nah you just need to make it to a room at the end and open a chest, ideally you avoid that centaur boss guy since he'll fuck you up
But the bones you get are for a random named character, you can get one of each of the ones in each dungeon before you won't be able to find any
To see who's in the dungeon click the i next to it in the mausoleum menu

All I know is that the first time I went in, I barely struggled my way into that tiny branch, found a bone and fled.

Undead bane has been a total meme for me. +5 i can understand but everything in the dungeon dies to at most two magic hits and a melee with a good normal weapon. Action speed is the only thing you need to free farm bones (at level 30 for reference)

You only get thief mc unlocked in the 2nd dungeon so you really should run another thief.

Dagger/bow thieves are also really handy though, would still recommend you use them as someone's who's running a thief mc atm so I'm using 2 thieves in my party.

There's a bunch of luck places, I got the one left of the warrior class which unlocked chronostasis and 1 skill point for the mc.

Chronostasis seems like an upgraded delay attack from thieves but I think I saw another anon saying it takes 30sp to use so I didn't unlock it.

Having to backtrack to a beginner tier dungeon every single time to farm up 15 of those shitters just to get past +5 to +9 of every single gear you upgrade seems so retarded.

Meh, I asked the same stuff at the time and no one answered me so I ended up just killing him anyway, I still don't know if would have been easier before NG+, but it wasn't all that hard after following the advices for the quest here.

I did the princess request is it like an ordering that I have to be there, then go back and turn in princess request to make her leave so she doesn't get the foot injury? I saved her on b4f with the gas but I assume she still dies later.
