I like the way turtle handles it. The conflict is entirely optional, everyone speaks common, you can even group with players of the opposite faction. Its like I play a character that doesn't consider himself to be part of the Alliance or the Horde. If I wanted to be Alliance or Horde I turn warmode on.

I didn't watch any wow influencies anymore. The wow content I watch is signs of kelani or readycheckpull for boss vids but I never just casually pick up some wow content as comfy kino.

I went back to try Shadowlands because I heard it was an abomination and I skipped it entirely after quitting in BFA.
This genuinely does not feel like WoW. Who wrote this shit? The story is fucking awful, the zones are all separated from each other, the "city" is dogshit, the art style feels like some unholy spawn of Guild Wars 2. The big bad is absolutely retarded edgy nonsense that has zero presence because you know nothing about him and he never interacts with you, or any character really outside Anduin and FUCKING Sylvanas, whose redemption is the most undeserved I have ever seen.
How did you guys play through this shit? And I thought BFA was bad. At least it has a coherent art style and recognizable characters and settings from lore. This expansion is just.... Why.

The premise of Shadowlands was an awesome idea. A metaphysical trans-dimensional realm which exists outside normal spacetime is a very interesting idea HOWEVER like with all science fiction tropes which are commonly portrayed in a very infantile way (example: time travel) this sort of high level fantasy requires a high level of intellect and creativity to really make it come to life while being immersive and believable. Intellect and creativity are commodities which were in very short supply over at blizzard back then. They are virtually non-existent now. >:(

I'm the one asking about playing healer from start to bottom reporting in. Every party so far has been pretty chill, no kicks, people actually talkative and nice (for whatever reason). I didn't really fuck up much because I played healer in the other game before, but holy shit, it really just drops you right in, I genuinely can't imagine actually trying to play dungeons as a healer without prior experience in MMOs.
After years of ff14 the fact that the everything is smooth instead of janky, without random stops between every action. Even subbing in didn't require me to restart the game or anything, damn, I didn't expect it to be this noticeable.

there's no real lore to it. every race was utilized by the original DK regime in wrath, any races that got it afterwards are simply blizzard filling in the gaps to appease people and make no sense canonically. UD and belf both make sense.

As strong as Malf is, able to threaten the lives of two entire armies(Kaldorei rebels VS. Ashara's forces) with is full power, Cenarius is still his superior in power, and Malorne even greater than that.

One could argue that they shouldn't write powerhouses on this level in the first place, as that would be better and easier to write around, but the milk's spilled on that front.

The majority of Malfurion wank didn't start happening until WOTA and the Stormrage novel, which were books that were written after WC3.
If anything, it's on Knaak for the terrible power-scaling Night Elves have and why Malfurion constantly has to job in the narrative, or be shelved.

I doubt it. But I see that the narrative is already in place while there's strictly no way of knowing how much they earn other than “olol I saw four guys on the mount in town”. Even the wowtoken is returning to normal in less than 24 hours.

What's happened above all is that we've witnessed a dripping display of certain people's wealth. Before, people bought their mount and went on with their normal lives. Here, they bought it and immediately displayed it in a disgusting manner in-game or on reddit/twitter.

The fact that tokens sold out and are continuing to increase in prices is a pretty good indicator, considering it takes 6 tokens to get the mount that's $120 not the normal $90 per person who bought the mount through tokens
