I just don't know why but the mouse input feels... off in BO6. There seems to be a tiny delay which isn't in MWIII. I just compared it back to back. In BO6 I just can't snap to enemies like I can in MWIII.

I feel like I have to ask because I've been hearing it for so long, especially now with the new one out. WHY DO PEOPLE COMPLAIN ABOUT SHOTGUNS???? I mean it makes no motherfucking sense to me. The entire point of these things is to be up close, and fuck people up. What is so wrong about that? You have motherfuckers screaming is rage about getting shottied when in reality all ARs, SMGs, and LMGs, are able to kill better and faster at nearly all ranges including up close. As well, sniper rifles are literally just shotguns except better in every way. One taps from across the map, insane aim assist, scopes that highlight everything for you/see through smoke/etc, all while having 100x the range and damage.

I mean it's genuinely nuts to me how much people hate on shotties but jerk off snipers.

Why did they even bother putting LMGs in the game? Everyone is zipping around so god damned fast and every map is the size of a middle class living room. There's no sense in trying to use some dogshit that takes 350ms to pull up when an enemy can sprint around the corner, pull their gun up, then kill you before you get your gun up all the way. Not to mention the time to kill on them doesn't even justify it, and the resupply packs only give you like 30 rounds

black ops is basically world at war then black ops 1 --> cold war --> bo2 past missions -->black ops 6 --> bo2 future missions --> bo4 --> bo3

If you use cod HQ to launch any of those games it just launches the steam version and closes itself, no one playing those games is counted as also playing cod HQ unless they go out of their way to relaunch cod HQ

Idk I used the kawaii kitty Mara operator so it wasn't even the milsim aspect that did it for me. It might be because I had actualy completely quit playing video games around 2013 when the ps4/xbox one came out and when mw2019's alpha came out, I played it at my brother's and it hooked me so fucking hard I went out and bought a console for it. Zombies isn’t as bad as the clips made it out to be but there’s still a lot of work to be done before it’s good. I should note I’ve only played Liberty Falls. Armor plates are completely redundant, it’s a clutter mechanic that can be completely removed. Having a map is cool but I think the perk machines should be hidden on it until you find them. Being able to create a starting loadout is a mood killer, I’m not sure if that’s a petty opinion but that’s how I feel. I assume it’s not about babying players but just letting them camo grind. Gobblegums are also redundant, I stand by that in bo3 too. They don’t improve or worsen the experience, they’re just there as a microtransaction mechanic. Crafting is a huge disappointment. Somehow Tranzit had it best, the name of the game is map interaction. Between the bus parts, mannequin generator, riot shield they all enhanced the experience and made it funnier. This iteration of zombies feels way closer to that one game mode in MW3. That’s my overall opinion for zombies. 3arch shouldn’t be ashamed to make major changes post release either, that would only help the game’s publicity in fact.
>Multiplayer
Maps are pure garbage, I actually yearn for the beta maps and vote for them when I can. If only we could filter maps along with game modes. Praying to god there will be a nuletown only playlist when that releases. Other than that it’s just normal cod multiplayer, not great not terrible, painfully depressing in a few ways. Probably not what my younger self playing black ops 2 imagined something like black ops 6 would be like.

I think we can all agree this game being titled black ops 6 with the orange kino aesthetic feels like a crime. Would much rather it be called Cold War 2. At least with black ops 1-4 we could put them on some kind of a pedestal but now the name black ops franchise has officially been sullied with the cod hq and all that other garbage

Right now in order to launch Black Ops 6 -> I am opening Steam, then clicking on the general Call Of Duty game that I have in my library. Waiting for it to load 5 minutes, after asking me to restart it multiple times for some "much needed upgrades", then when I'm done with this I navigate through the launcher to find Black Ops 6.

I click on the game and it asks me which version do I want to play Campaign or Multiplayer. After I click one of the versions the first launcher closes, then the actual Black Ops 6 starts.

After asking me to restart multiple times for some much needed updates, I am in and ready to play the mode that I chose (Campaign or Multiplayer). If I want to switch modes I need to exit the game, open the first launcher, choose the different mode, close the first launcher and launch the Black Ops 6 mode that I chose.|

i use dolby atmos. it's way better than this personalised 3d shit. even the one on playstation is shit. once you use atmos you can't go back to anything else. the best 3d surround software i've ever used was built into my old soundblaster z soundcard though, that shit was like magic, i could hear the precise direction and distance of enemies. almost a cheat code in warzone and old battlefield games back in the day. but i play on xbox now with atmos because it clears everything else available.

Campaign was very good, especially because they used real life missions.
MP was fun but not overtly sweaty, MW22 started the insane sbmm bullshit lobbies imo.

Campaign is better in terms of missions and gameplay, easily the best cod campaign in terms of gameplay
The story is worse than Cold War but the characters are better
Marshall is a big improvement from the personality vaccum Sims
Big emphasis on what happened to Woods and how Adler got involved in everything

Zombies is better than Cold War, it's actually difficult this time around and you can get cornered very easily, all operators have a decent amount of voice lines and more comments in general
Terminus is pretty good
Liberty Falls is mid but certainly better than some Cold War maps
Terminus crew has nuanced personality that isn't cliche or intentionally comedic

The augmentation system sucks so far. So grindy and linear forcing you to always switch between stuff instead of grinding rounds and let Adler takes the wheel

Don't know much about Multiplayer but one thing I noticed is the amount of bullshit they toned down from Cold War by making killstreaks much harder and easier to target by other players
And by nerfing snipers and shotguns and reducing the intensity of crutch perks like Flak Jacket

Maps are a hit or miss, lowtown is bad, Vorkutta is pretty good, something straight out of Black Ops 1 both in design and artstyle
Supersonic is great, so much better than Babylon

Yes quickscoping is hard, there's a noticeable aim sway and inaccuracy. Completely understandable with how disgustingly laser-accurate they were in Cold War. All of my clips so far are ones where the enemy is ignoring me or can't aim for shit with their rifles.

"dedicated melee weapon activation" 3rd one down. it lets you hold the button to activate, cycle through your weapons to activate, or have a specific button dedicated to activating your melee, which is what I want. Issue is, I cannot see any binding anywhere to assign what this specific button should be.

Game runs worse than MW2/3 which shouldn't make any sense because it's the same engine and all.
Visually it also manages to look kind of worse.
One thing what helped me with random hitches was to disable vsync in the game and force it on via nvidia control panel.
I also noticed the game runs better if the vsync is completely off but then I get frame tearing etc.
Never had issues before.

Just made a refund request on Steam. The MP bugs and the spawns with the absolute braindead first 20 minutes of the campaign sealed it for me.
I think I outgrew COD.

I usually enjoy the COD campaign but this was too much. First the cheesy voice acting and writing, then we're bombing some convoy to extract a bad guy, but then he immediately trusts us and reveals the real villains within 15 seconds of conversation even though we just killed 50 of his men.

Holy fuck, yes, the maps. How is this the best they came up with? The spawns are flipping every 10 seconds. I have to look around me in 360 degrees all the time. And there aren't even that many weapons.
