That makes me think, since dungeons scale and you will not be able to clear everything with just MC, can't you get pretty fucked and completely softlocked if all your characters die and you run out of gold?
Seems poorly planned.
A way to change how strong the beginning dungeon is would be ideal.

Yeah it was quite unintuitive with how his unique nuke read anyway since you wanted a 2h mace for that while you wanted a 2h sword for the other. He's really good too I'm at like 5f right now and he's slow but super accurate for some reason.

Is it even possible to save Maurice and the other knights on B4F your first time through? Elmon isn't wounded so she survives, and Lulu is like 'if someone went with her maybe they could have saved the knights', but the only other options I have result in other people dying, or rocks falling and everyone dying. I've done so regularly on a warrior using a 1h + shield switching to a 2h sword with undead band.

I did get crashes trying to switch to a pickaxe though, it sounds like a similar issue.

But then you won't see how many bonus points they have plus you'll need to remember their position in the list so you can match it up with the register menu. You can use filters to make things easier, but all in all there's no easy way to check for fortitude and points.

Undead bane for the boss.
Save mp by avoiding fights.
Get your shit to +5 enchant.
Use sleep spell for monsters you can't kill instantly.
Use mairen to kill skeleton ally calls instantly.
He is unironically the hardest grade up boss so far.
I just did iron grade and that guy was a push over compared to him.

Undead bane weapons in the later parts of the beginning abyss doesn't have the damage penalty against undead.
Mages should have also learned row wide spells by then.
Giving your frontline undead bane weapons + 2 mages is an easy way to win, just conserve MP for his summon and beat him down. He doesn't really have much in terms of attacks and can't do much damage on his own.

Gear up and do your best.
Iron tier equips are nice to have if you can get them (mausoleum non-bone junk drops them if you struggle to find them).
Anti-undead, fireball scrolls, potions, taking the shortest route and avoiding enemies on the way, resetting if the boss isn't at the closest room, etc are all good things to do. Bring AoE for the adds and hold off on spamming until you get the adds.

In that way, you conserve a flame. This becomes very relevant during exams, because you'll want all your flames for the boss.

The other, more natural reason is if the situation is completely hopeless and burning flames won't be enough to get you to safety.

Give thief huntsman bow and undead bane bows to effectively shoot things.
Mage with ma- nuke to btfo a row of summoned enemies. Atk debuff is fine, too.
Priest
Knight with line cover and/or undead bane gun
Slam armor break when you can
Fighter that slams with 2h undead bane weapons when armor debuff is up
Bring some fireball scrolls for mage+priest and healing potions for everyone else if you want to save MP but still cast shit.
Also if you defend successfully your fighter can score some fat hits as long as you don't squander the status thingy that appears after taking a hit while defending.

They're just chance based, yeah. Can get them on basic attacks. You can get extra surety stat on gear, there's a priest spell that buffs it and I believe daggers convert some of the dex to it, but I might be wrong.

Wide variety, this is more like a traditional blobber, 1 super strong unit cannot carry your ass, you want a bunch of good units.
That said, don't go sweating over SSRs, they aren't better than every other chars statwise, they just have useful minor passives like de/buffs lasting 1 turn longer or a 10% damage boost to the row.

At the high end dupes might matter but starting off you're better off using a variety of units to deal with certain issues. The prologue (AKA the first dungeon) is fairly generic, but you start unlocking element specific dungeons and what not eventually.

Yeah, it's like 15 dupes to get around 28 all stat, 40 to two main stats, and like +100 hp. It scales better with more copies so the early levels do like nothing. And another 6 dupes to max out one of their unique skills.

19 STR is the highest you can reroll. The questions don't affect the stats at all it's completely random, just pick the same answers to ensure Neutral every time.
The values are:
>STR: 17-19
>IQ: 12-14
>PIE: 12-14
>VIT: 16-18
>SPD: 13-15
>DEX: 15-17
>LUCK: 13-15 (+1)
You can only get 2 high rolls (Piety and Vitality in your case) 3 mid (Strength, IQ, Luck) and 2 low (Speed and Dex) for a total of 104 points. Sometimes you can get a 105th extra point added onto luck. If you get 16 luck then it seems to take one of your high rolls, so you'll have 4 mids and 2 lows.

Nta but there's plenty of uses. Buff spells to increase the duration. Debuff spells to increase debuff rate. Mage spell so you oneshot the boss. Lvl2/3 aoe spell for easier farming

Just do it, getting to level 30 isn't a problem and you get some useful passives and skills that help for clearing the boss. Getting to the second dungeon while the extra drops/sell value campaign is still active is more valuable then the exp gain.

Game has enemies that hit very hard or do 1 + instant death damage. If you're really unlucky you can fail resurrection and then fail "last chance for real no cap" resurrection, but as someone tested, you have to be really unlucky for that to happen. Besides you get safety measures like free guaranteed revives or starting fights over.
What's really going to fuck you over is bugginess. We have at least two people here who are stuck in a cutscene...

You get everything from two fights in B6F, you have to purposefully get the puzzles wrong to find them.
Go back to finish the quest once you reach B7F and that is it.

Rerolls are like 15-20 minutes, not very fun. I'd go for any 2+ SSR roll honestly, or if you like the characters you got.
Statwise they're the same, the rare dudes just get an extra cool perk.

Yes it's just a sales pitch to create buzz, in practice it's like saying there is permadeath in Granblue because you could "missclick" 5 times and disenchant your weapons and summons.

. You can even continue playing with them if you just do safe content since you also have t revives (which regen) for the mc that works as a pre battle safestate. albeit there are some downsides (thiefs get frightened if you fuck up opening chest, battle revives become impossible so you can't do harder content that needs them).

Somehow my Lana has level 2 knight hp passive. Haven't bought any skills exp books and pretty sure they haven't given any free ones, you can't even get the knight version as inheritance and I don't remember raising it in the first place either.

I am pretty sure the success rate for blue items is waaaay higher than greens,no have failed every single green I have tried so far, but theb3 blues I did all succeeded.

No, generally you put points into one or two main stats depending on the class. Ex- mages can go all IQ or split IQ/SPD, frontliners want some VIT so they don't die, etc. There's no 100% agreed upon distribution plan but you should avoid obviously bad stuff like giving your Fighter any IQ.

I usually go with whatever the chareacter has as their main stats. If they have more points in Speed, Vit and strength, i will just allocate more points in those.

I think the questions except the last one are in a different order each account reroll but same order when rerolling MC vessel, so it'd be better to mention which questions have the evil answer at the top grouped by whether the good answer is middle or bottom so people rerolling can just do it for the first question that pops up instead of waiting for that one specific question.

Apparently there were some infinitely respawning sandals that gave a shitload of actionspeed, but the devs made the chest only spawn once in the latest update. It's kinda funny knowing there's probably a few hundred jap autists playing with +20 actionspeed on all of their characters, outspeeding every enemy encounter in the game for who knows how many updates to come.

Bone farming. Bones are the most precious resource in the game, with much higher value than anything else. Ore farming is trivial. Gold is easy to get. XP is slow. Quests will be there forever.

Bones will be gone in a day or two, tops. The Japs have started talking about it now.

They won't die if they hit 0. They only die if you revive them, they turn to ash, then you try and revive them again, and they're still low on fortitude. Has anyone failed a church revive above 50 fortitude yet?

The only issue with using your main party is that you're kind of locked into doing tomb runs the rest of the day.

One of the japs is saying how there's a bugged chest in B7, but it's hard to reproduce. I've encountered this chest on NG+, I'm sure I took it on NG, and I checked the room a few times, but one time the chest was back and I got another bone.

If you figure out how to farm this chest, that's a straight up game break, way better than the current bone farm.

Yup, but there's 2 ways around it.
You can either use scrolls, or just bait the enemies out of the water, scrolls are limited so luring the enemies out of the water is probably intended.
I did get to the arena with 2x mages + 1 priest, but B6F is pretty hellish due to the abundance of the underwater areas.

So i just went and checked and the chest was there, but the entire floor was reset so I had to go down to B8 and restore the rocks again.

Skipped around a bit with the wheel but couldn't get it to spawn again, might have to do one of the later ones and fight to it.

So sounds like maybe what's happening is the people with bugged Undeadbane weapons, those are actually Bronze weapons but then bugged out and showed as Undeadbanes? Because I don't mean the rates are dogshit for Undeadbane weapons until high floors. Undeadbane weapons are straight up not even supposed to be in the pool at all for the lower floor Junks.

I feel like mine popped back up after I had finished the boss and then reset back to the b8F shield point so I could set up B7F for farming again without walking through poison. I wish those blocks would remember they were fucking placed.

Chests in a certain spot respawn when you warp to specific checkpoints in the wheel. So if that chest does respawn then all that needs to be done is to check what checkpoint makes it reappear.
