We already knew there were other colors cause blizz fucked up and accidentally showed off the good version of the monk set before swapping it to the ugly shitty green version we have now. This means they all have other colors. Most of them are pretty obvious as they're just using other colors already used, such as purple judgment for pally, warrior wrath will be red like the guy in shadowmoon valley, rogue will be brown and grey like the karazhan version, etc.

For pushing your r.io or just straight up jump into 10s for gear?
Like 590-600 you can get into 4s-8s but I wouldn't invite you to a 10. With a group that is mildly stacked you maybe can get away with 605-ish ilvl in a 10 tho.
610 would be the bare minimum for a 10 to avoid getting flattened in seconds, but you are still damp paper if you fuck up badly.

Absolutely not, all tanks are doing pretty alright even BrM.
BDK (San'layn)?
Yes.
San'layn is incredibly poor and gives you a stat that doesn't really work with BDK (haste) and doubly doesn't work after the change of where gift goes.
The other benefits are things like low amounts of leech and a bit extra movespeed on your mobility (you are still a wheelchair bound retard).
Infliction of sorrow sounds good but is so much fucking worse than the deathbringer alternative and it also nonbos with itself.
The big "upside" is the uncapped aoe on the bloodbeast but that is both unreliable (you can't summon it at will) and worse, not something BDK can feasibly do in any content where it would be useful ie do a hyper massive pull where doing uncapped aoe is beneficial is going to instantly flatten you in M+ and you the tank dps while beneficial isn't really going to carry a 3+ pack pull.

Tanks scale better with stamina because they got a bunch of semi hidden auras and buffs.
5ilvls is a good chunk of stamina and armor (ie EHP)
10ilvls is like playing two different powerlevels.
Secondary stats also really influence some tanks, a warrior/paladin with 30% haste and with 20% haste are two entirely different levels of resilence.

Having a really defined "time before thing" going on without thinking about it in a game with second to second timings is really good when your entire job is to either pro-actively pop a CD or plan for the fight ahead of you.
It isn't as common now, but back in the day most fights also had no warning tankbusters so having the ability to "Oh I know in 1s the boss will nuke me for 60% of my HP *pops defensive*" was beyond broken.

it's kinda disapointing, that instead of more classic dungeons like deadmines, we got dungeons like diremaul and stratholme.
OG scholomance, Scarlet Monastery, Blackfathom, ShadowFang Keep, Ragefire Chasm,
There's a lot of places they could have shown in it's classic form and it probably would have felt better than both diremauls and strathholme, which for the most part are perfectly entact in cata dungeon finder anyway.

Yeah, the Everbloom weren't really dealt with in the AU timeline, given we see Botani run out of the portal at the end of the Maghar questline. But that might as well not be canon as they never continued that plot beat from the end of the chain, nor reference it again in Chronicles.
Ultimately it's been 5 years since the questline first hit live servers and we've still got 0 clue what caused the big divide between Orcs and Draenei. With this reasoning being the closest we got, but now it's what caused the planet to go tits up post our leaving.

Almost all other tanks besides DH have a single buff they are trying to maintain throughout the dungeon. DH doesn't have this and has their mitigation spread across 4 or 5 different buttons.

There's plenty of implied Half Race characters. It's just that they never bother making custom models for them, unless they're a important character.
Lantresor of the Blade's a Half Orc like Garona, Rexxar's entire clan are all Half Orc/Half Giants. With him being the only one to get a unique model and that didn't happen until BFA. Alodi was a Half Elf. Dagran Jr's technically a half breed between two types of Dwarves, with Dark Iron's being considered more elemental than Wildhammer and Bronzbeard do to their connection to the Firelands. It's also why they can't bathe.
Kalec was supposed to look like a Half Elf.

There's a few direct lore bits going over how water basically extinguishes Dark Iron and Dark Iron actively hate getting wet, with one instance of someone's family member being put in a coma for weeks until they could reheat him. They basically run on Charmander rules thanks to their elemental nature.
But gameplay / lore is the disconnect that you don't really see it affect them in game much

The thing that separates VDH from BDK for me is how BDK feeds itself. it all feels so smooth despite so many different systems running. no real cooldown management besides use DRW and then use the 2 buttons that give DRW CDR.

BDK allows you to 'mong play' for longer, ie stand there, refuse to kite slam your cranium into the wall and as you said, it feels itself while VDH just drops their shit then peaces out.
VDH will have your asshole pumped for even trying that bullshit in anything mildly hard, it also depends on kitting as a rotational thing which is frankly pretty hard unless you know where you are supposed to go, when you can, what you can and can't kite, etc...
I'd say VDH has the highest skill floor to play and thus why people think they are made out of wet tissue and paper when they aren't super overtunned, kitting as a tank feels pretty counter intuitive and 'dangerous' if you go on feel.
I also didn't add more arrows because there isn't enough arrows for the powergap that is bear.
