What are the downsides of having a bow on a frontline fighter/knight? Can I only use bows from the back and if that's not the case then is there a penalty for using it from the front or do two-handed melee weapons simply outperform it?

The same downside of any two handed weapon, you won't have the extra defense from a shield which you'll need to not die in a few hits at the front.

fighters have a passive that makes melee do more damage.
though i had frontline fighters with bows for a bit and they were better than 2h greatswords axes or hammers.
bow in the hands of a fighter is better than bow in the hands of a theif.

It helps that there's a meaty game part to the gacha where any character can end up broken with enough inherit skills. I would've dropped it if it were like any other auto slop gacha.
Here's hoping that they never fall into the usual newest unit powercreep all the old ones that gachas inevitably fall into.
I have an urge to throw all my dupes into the MC just to see how much of a gigachad I can make him and if there ever comes a day where a character is broken due to their unique uninheritable skill, I'll be really disappointed.

Asking because the game has been only giving me old wood bows so far and I saw fighters and knights could use them. I have a bow on my backrow Thief as well already.

Well if you have zero good polearms but a good bow than that can work sure. I'm talking all else equal.
Some of the 2Hers can be tricky to use though due to weird stat penalties, polearms not so much.

the range advantage is you having a frontline to take the hits for you. you can use bows if you want. its better than early game miss fuckin everything melee 2handers. you are losing potentially higher damage for consistency

theres issues with swapping the pickaxe, its possibly if you have a shieild , if your inventory is full, or a specific weapon like the breeze sword have been said to trigger it. move it to your mage or theif as a fix

Daggerfall had literally broken dungeons, and they used the same kind of system.

The problem is just that they don't have enough variant map pieces. Den of earth is easy because I always go left, then up, then left to get to the boss. Haven't bothered with den of fire yet, though.

Either too jaded or haven't played enough gacha. Japs never seems to big into marketing their game, at best they only put ads on some website or game portal or pay some media outlet to get PR exposure. Anyone outside japan get their info purely from word of mouth. As opposed to all of these chink and gook gacha that just pour million gazillions dollars to market their game to every corner of human's life.

MC is pretty flexible due to the amount of passives he can get, though I think he can only swap to warrior, knight, and thief. So you probably want to get as much ATK as possible from the nodes with the spare pearls.
For me, I'm building him as a thief while stacking ATK so he can hide > warrior's cry > that last thief skill that can only be done while hiding.
When they release the mage/priest class, I'm going to stack MP + IQ/Div instead and make him a mob clearer.

Blessings. You want good blessings, with high stat increases. Early game, that means hard stats, late game that'll probably mean percentage increases.

Higher color gear gets UPGRADED blessings at milestones, so anything with more unlocked to begin with is better, because if you +10 a green or +5 a white, you only UNLOCK a blessing. Upgrades DOUBLE the blessing amount.

Stars are whatever, what matters most is high stat blessings. A 1 star with +10 attack is going to be far better of an axe than a 4 star with +2% magic defense.

You get the DEX light needed for thief about 1/2 way through the port city dungeon, after you learn to repair the dragon statues.
I recently reset my mind well, so I haven't used the SPD light. From squinting at the fog, it doesn't seem to unlock any class.

The second dungeon has added respawning enemies. I know this because this faggot is guarding the only way in and out of this floor and I'm stuck here with my cock in my hands. It's 2 Lizardmen, a Mage, and a Crossbowman. Not an easy group to clear with no MP, SP, or scrolls. I've burned all 3 of my rezzes trying to brute force my way through. I may have to Accept Death, but I'm trying not to because I don't want to have to clear that big underwater room with half a dozen mobs in it again.

I just found a second Amelia from the thief mausoleum.
I've found 2 Amelias, 1 Philip, 1 Milana, and 1 Viviana. The game tells me I've found 4/6.

So either I'm bugged or you can farm Mausoleums for infinite 4 stars. Using the start you detailed (Adam AoE spam), It's pretty consistent and easy, too. Sometimes an extra enemy spawns in the roundabout room, though.

The beginning of 5F (which is where this is) is a one-tile corridor where you can't actually kite this guy. There's a bigger room at the entrance itself, though he couldn't have spawned there because he seems to have a preset patrol ground (based on me trying to kite him somewhere that I can try and maneuver around him).

Mob aggro seems to be based on a combination of LOS (with the sort-of exception of mobs that include slimes, which can be interpreted as some combination of having distance-based aggro and/or full 360 degree LOS) and distance from its spawn point. After a certain distance of following the player, regardless of distance from said player, this one loses interest. The exact point this one loses interest is the turn leading to the four-way intersection. I have seen mobs sometimes take on "new" patrol patterns after losing aggro (namely in that one hallway in the first dungeon's B6F, the two one-tile halls with a wall in between each), but the one-tile corners on this one make it impossible to hold aggro up until the 2x3 room a bit up the way. Just ate the Accept Death as a result.

I think you have to go to the shop to trigger it after you complete the quest, he'll say something like "yeah I'll have them done by the time you reach the next floor".

I think size and shape are moreso analogous to mob composition. For example: the small blobby ones will have slims or bunnies, the small person-shaped ones will have goblins or sahaguin, the big person-shaped ones will have hobgoblins or lizardmen, the bird-looking ones will have clouds or birds or something, etc.. Though thinking on the general strengths of each different size of enemy, I guess it actually would be easier to think of mob size = relative strength, yeah.

I just got a debra +5 bonus points. You probably wont be able to farm this quickly and consistently yet.
My Adam is level 35, and he needs to be in order to have enough MP to nuke 4 times, essentially skipping 4 fights. He also has decent gear (almost all increasing magic or action speed).
A fast thief is important to have as well. My Debra cleans up with her anti-undead bow and high speed. There are still some rare enemy comps I can't deal with (other than the boss, who I always juke), so in those cases I try to run, else I die and spend a flame to revive.

So raising adventurers just to dismiss them is a complete waste of time, since getting a tag of your current grade is the same as dismissing them at level 1 and the extra tag from named and legendary should stay the same at all grades.

Right now it caps at +4 for you. For the first dungeon (<lvl30) Just upgrade:
-Bronze shit you can find that is useable and is 2* (and higher) or has a good bonus stat.
- Iron stuff that fits your comp.
When you unlock +5 and higher you can start worrying. All the gear i used was either +4 or +5 after beating the first dungeon.

Also upgrade all the named rings you get (they are comparable to iron) a good anti undead bow, 1/or 2 frontline anti undead weapons (mages are the best solution to clearing undead so imo they are a bit overrated) and the GOATED wind sword.

Does anyone know if inheriting skills before you learn them naturally via level ups have any interaction?
I'm assuming you don't gain any skill exp for re-learning a skill so it would be ideal to check what skills a character can learn and get from their class/class change before inheriting skills. But it would be good to get clarification from people whom actually experimented and found out. (if any)

I believe the way it works is that when you get that skill you already have from a level up, it just adds a level to that skill. So in theory, the best way to build MC is to stack 5-6 levels of those skills on first, and then level those classes to max them out cheaper.

MC gets level 2 warrior skills, and inheriting it still only takes 1 copy with a 1/6 inherit limit.
I don't see why it should work differently when the order of learning is swapped.

I don't plan on using them yet because she can still potentially brick if I make the wrong decisions. But comments on her page in the jp wiki says that the passive heal doesn't stack with others and that level 4 heals 44. (I've gotten level 3 on another account and it healed 34)

I've mentioned in previous threads that it might alternate between 12 and 10 each level based on the above info. Level 1 and 2 seem to heal 6 and 11 if inherited so you can just assume the values are halved for others.
Values in parenthesis are extrapolated.
Lana: 12/22/34/44 (56/66/78)
Other: 6/11 (17/22/28/33/39)

Thanks for pointing out that it's not just once daily, I kinda assumed it was the case because of the guide and the altar thing, as well as the fortitude raping traps, but at level 35 there was pretty much 0 risk for me going in there over and over
Which basically means you can get any rare adventurer you want with some patience and also pretty much unlimited tag fodder (still I hope they don't expect us to actually do that for the high tier tags)

I have an anti-undead bow at +10 and it does double the damage of my +5 Huntsman's Bow (even though it's 100x1 while the huntsman is 115x1). So getting at least one anti-undead weapon to +10 seems worth it to me, even if they don't have good traits.

They probably work fine. You just need enough damage to oneshot most things and enough speed to outrun them. My Adam has 177 magic power and 41 action speed and oneshots everything except undead and hobgoblins. Undead are cleaned up by Debra and the second mage, while everyone shits on hobs because they're slow.

I'm still iffy about undead bane weapons, they are about the same as bronze statwise so they do worse than iron which will last longer. Also, some of them are bugged and don't have the anti-undead tag and end up doing the same damage as bronze weapons.
Thankfully, I'm well passed that point and reached the part where I can field 2 row wiping mages for an extended period of time.

I shouldn't have neglected to bring undead weapons for the grade up quest.
I never used them because as other anons mentioned they felt kinda useless in the beginning dungeon.
But here since we can just focus on one guy, it is probably gonna be worth it.

Wizardry has been pretty good so far though, it helps that a dud pull is still a character I can use or feed to my main party to make them stronger, It's the other gachas where if you don't pull the limited you essentially pulled nothing that irks me

Wanderer is lvl20 tutorial class that is useless.
Continue story and unlock fighter, wanderer skills transfer to fighter so you get lvl2 moves.

Yeah. To unify the first time you can do with any two Strength 0/3 items of the same name.
But to unify the second time you'll need two Strength 1/3. And then two Strength 2/3.
So you'll need quite a few items to create a 3/3 item.

There's a whole bunch of chests, some have bones for specific GENERAL adventurers, some have shit gear. You can open one each time you enter, or 3 if you pay gems. Then you can pay more gems for the guide to protect you from instant death attacks.

Neither gem option is worth it in the long run.

I think not being able to use a shield with 2h weapon is already a big enough penalty, but holy shit, I can never bring myself to swap my Lana to 2h because of the action speed, she drops below 10 with a greatsword, that is insane. I guess eventually we will have big enough stat boosts that it won't matter, but right now it does.

Poco X3 here, runs mostly alright.
Though it matches the minimum requirements from their website (snapdragon 855, or 860 which is just a rebrand of the former one).
It definitely feels like something is not quite optimized though, the game does not look good enough to justify these requirements or performance.
I haven't really played phone games in like a decade, but I remember infinity blade looking about as good as this, and that ran on a fucking iphone 4.

Once you're level 30+ it takes like 5 minutes for one run
You're not guaranteed to get a bone, so it's still quite annoying, but to get a whole team through the 30->40 exam really doesn't require too many tags, you're bricking yourself more if you think random characters with shitty characters are better to keep than advancing your main party and getting through the content

No, he probably just farmed B7F for a while. If you kill 3 enemies a run, that's only 100-150 fountain rests until you're done, it's not that crazy. Probably takes you like 5 hours though.

I think Delay Attack just has a wrong description. The mage spell works fundamentally differently by giving them a debuff that increases wait time, Delay Attack directly moves them further down the stack if it procs.

I wasn’t brave enough to not give him any vit. Currently mines got 27 vit and 20 speed at level 15, and 42 evasion. His speed growth isn’t great, a lot of the eva will come from equipment and his passive.

Yeah, i'm having a really annoying bug where the game gets SUPER SLOW whenever we "turn our head left and right" during a cutscene. Most NPCs also take around 40 seconds to appear.
It's so weird. The game runs perfectly fine most of the time, but i can't deal with cutscenes to save my life. It's not like my phone is super weak either. Even with all these problems the game is so fun i'm dealing with it

I'm unsure. I used mine once and it said "okay" but then didn't actually go through (when you re-install you have to make sure you don't tap the title screen and make a new account first, because then you can't overwrite it), and then it worked after that, but it might just have been because it failed the first time.

I'd just generate a new one to be on the safe side after you use it.

The difference, I believe, is when 80 fortitude characters gets revived, their fortitude immediately dips below 51 making next revive harder. So essentially, 90+ fort chars get 2 easy revives.

I would say Lana for the heals. But it seems you've got Gerard as your knight.
That will make you a lot more reliant on Alice's MP for heals. But probably Debra then. Some would argue Adam. But you've already got two magic users and Debra is quick and is the one that can most liberally use SP on regular mobs. And it's nice to have someone that can deal with chests and traps without having to first reclass your MC.

That should be a decent enough formation. Missing out on Lana's atk bonus is a shame but Gerulf is extremely strong and should compensate.
That said, you could try giving Gerulf a spear and swap places between him and Debra. Which would allow Debra to use daggers. And would allow the front row to benefit from Lana's row passive and the backrow from Alice's row passive.

1 mid to high 30s legendary mage/priest + even more mages and/or thieves.
With ~40 action speed, chars will more or less always go first and the legendary can nuke the entire enemy group. Anyone that doesn't die gets blasted to death by the rest of the mages/thieves.
You don't want to give the enemy a single chance to act and risk killing your team, especially with 0 fortitude. High speed also let's you spam flee against the horsemen.

Quick estimates from tomb raiding, it takes me about 5 minutes to get to the chest and then go heal, and I get a bone maybe half to 1/3rd of the time, so that's 4-6 bones per hour. My comp is not optimal, either. Red bow fuckers survive most of the time and need cleanup.

IMO, all the concerns over fortitude are overblowing it.
It literally doesn't matter unless they die, and even then you can just wait for their corpse to recover fortitude before attempting a rez. Honestly, I would rather just intentionally mess up the inbattle rez to kill myself for a flame reset than leave them dead and waste time and money to rez them in a temple. So fortitude just forces them into a cooldown and only if you suck.
0 fortitude characters function identically to 100 fortitude characters.

Fortitude doesn't affect combat ability, so the current meta is to go in hard and fast, kill off enemies before they can act and kill you off.
Run from the centaur since he's a mini boss so he's tanky. He also has an instant kill attack.

Definitely not, you want a high level mage and/or Alice, preferably a legendary one since their special AoE spell is usable from the start.
Otherwise, a normal mage learns their AoE spell at level 40.

You definitely want +5 gear and the Sword of the Breeze on your main damage dealer. Having a leveled up armor break on the MC from leveling both fighter and wanderer also helps a lot. But I ran out of everything too at lv 28 and ended up kililng him with basic attacks. If you don't have a wind mage, inherit Faru from Jarmil onto whatever mage you're using.

Helmut is weak to wind, there's 3 named mages with access to , wind (I think), Jarmil, Dino, and Asha.
Those 3 basically have a free damage bonus against him, though I get that you might not be too keen on raising a character from scratch.
Otherwise, one point to note is that his deadly ram attack is considered close range, so when he summons allies or rockfalls, he also guts his own ram damage while making him spam his weaker range attacks.
A frontline of spear wielders might be able to take advantage of this.

There's miniscule differences between units so far, maybe some will pull ahead once you take into account their reclasses and how those passives help each other, but this or any other early tierlist clearly hasn't done that yet
Their stats are all within the same total ballpark, their passives are situational or minimal with only the SSR ones having more noticeable ones and SSR mages having their special snowflake AoE, so those are pretty much the only ones deserving of their own tier

As all things go shes not, geting sp back per kill is a nice benift but nothing gamebreaking. Normal theives have enough sp to clear a floor. Yeah you cant use precision shot each turn and have to conserve but thats not a big deal.
