>>499310660If I spend 7 hours obtaining a better trinket that I'm going to be using for several months it's a 1 time deal that pays off in time.
I'm going to be spending an hour+ every week per character collecting wbuffs on my main and my alt then it's an annoyance every single week, forever, that I can't do in a one and done style, these comparisons are not the same.
>lazy fuckI had 4 60s in era by the time BWL released, one of them on a different server with a different faction. I mained Healers specifically because nobody gave a rats ass that I didn't go with most of the world buffs.
Even for a double nigger like me who clearly has too much free time, world buffs are exceedingly annoying, if I can spend that time doing anything else I would. PvP, AV rep grind, gearing an alt, leveling an alt, gathering and crafting my consumables, fucking ANYTHING.
There is enough bullshit for a DPS to grind or farm professions with each week that doesn't include stupid fucking jujus, felwood, blasted lands bullshit, or DM:N reruns for the 50th time, and god help you if you're on a PvP grind because you won't have fucking time at all.
You want to know who's screams I heard the loudest? When some DPS fucking steals aggro and gets 1 tapped, absolute stressful lamentations, because they wasted their fucking time on buffs they lost and additional time on the mountain of consumables they'll need to grind more of in the future.
If you guys want to be stress magnets in your games, fine, but everyone else plays video games to enjoy themselves. Grinding Strath for my stupid healing dress multiple times for multiple characters will never annoy me like world buffs do. Probably why TBC and Wraith basically didn't have that non-sense in raids.
>Your answer is that you don't want to spend time outside of raid getting them, what the fuck is the point of gear then?>what is the point of gearTo deal more damage in 100% of the content, with or without buffs. Questionable take...
