I'm knocking out the zombies story missions before the new game comes out, and they're all really easy. I'm on the last one right now.

Not only did they canonize Grey+Maxis romance, but they had a biological child together. They didn't specify whether that was through science (egg transplant) or through dark aether magic.

Also it seems they didn't all die? I was sure that Weaver and the crew were dead bodies at the start of MWIII zombies, but apparently half of them or maybe all of them are the zombies protagonists in blops6, breaking out of prison that they were sent to at the end of cold war zombies.

I'm excited to play some new zombies.

Shill anon back. Delta Force is a good time-waster until BO6 launches. I'll play it for the 7 day open-beta to tide me over.
A Battlefield-like game is always good for me as I don't take it serious for KD and Win/Loss.
Performance is shit as I go from 180-200 fps to dropping to 80 randomly. And there's a million typical Chink-like rewards with confusing UI and somehow an even more incomprehensible and esoteric attachment/stat system.

A sword skin would've surely been cool, but there's no way they could do an on-model Scorpion tank due to how different its shape is from the Ground War tank, and the AR would've probably just been like the Warhammer gun skins (decent, but still clearly meeting halfway between "lore accurate" and "a bit of custom modeling over an existing gun") rather than a special no-changing-the-attachments custom model like the Super Shotgun had.

TLDR if they'd actually done this it would've been no better than the W40k bundles were, good but not amazing by any stretch.

MWIII's regular camos are pretty easy, the only slightly-annoying ones are "kill stunned/flashed enemies" being one camo on most SMGs and "get bullet penetration kills" being on most LMGs and one Sniper.
Unlocking the guns themselves is really easy, most of them you just put in your Armory queue (win 3 matches/finish 3 daily challenges)

I've found myself enjoying BO2 zombies a lot more than BO3. I dont know what ppl thought of the mp back then but even in zombies the gun and gameplay in general is horrific. BO2 has gun sounds that really roar, its gameplay doesn't need an intro. And BO2 Origins is so much grittier than BO3's.

i dont think im gonna buy bo6. not that bocw was bad, im just tired of spending countless hours grinding battle passes when my operator skins and weapon blueprints don't carry over to the following cod game, year after year with the mw2/3 exception. i dont care about warzone, the only place where skins carry over. multiplayer and the side mode whether that be zombies or dmz are my go to, and where i care about keeping my skins. purge was my favorite skin in mw2019 and yet they forced everyone to start clean again in mwII. the real spit in the face was when they sold skins for price, ghost, and mace in mwII which are pretty much identical to skins we already paid for in mw2019
im also not the target audience any more. they stopped making realistic or even tacticool operator skins while many campaign skins are trapped in single player, just to shill out ugly fortnite shit that only man children and actual children like.
im sick of the wokeness that gets forced into the games whether that be the writing in the campaign or intolerable boss bitch dike characters like laswell or greene and now non binary rossi in bo6. they killed of fan favorite soap and kept gaz cuz he's black even though he hasn't contributed anything to the story or had any meaningful screen time since mw2019. they barely even give gaz any skins.
i also cant keep up with the sweats in multiplayer and warzone anymore. everyone is a wannabe streamer or esports loser who games all day and the way they play makes the game unfun to casual players like me who just wanna relax after coming home after a long day of work. its gonna be even worse when omni movement comes out in bo6 and eventually warzone 2 too.
i think im just gonna keep playing mw2019, bocw, mwII and mwIII and pray the player count stays decent enough that i can keep playing them for years. whats it like playing a past cod after the new one drops? please tell me the sweats leave at least.

IIRC once you hit Prestige Master or whatever it's called stuff stops re-locking even though you still have like another 1000 levels to go.
Also each Prestige you get an unlock token to get something unlocked early.
Also also any guns you have skins for stay unlocked.

So I guess the "solution" would be to shift around what you're camo grinding as you level up, to whatever the latest stuff you have unlocked is, rather than grinding out an early gun in full before moving on to the next gun.

Delta Force might've made for a nice "Side CoD" if it had modes with 12v12 match size or smaller, rather than 24v24 being the smallest option.
I think the Tarkov-style Gunsmith with CoD-style gun leveling is neat, and the DMZ ripoff mode might turn out alright, but for regular PvP 48-64 people fighting over a single capture zone just ends up a Shitment-esque clusterfuck at scale. No wonder I've never gotten into Battlefield.

If you are such a 'god' what is your trick for knowing enemy player spawns and positions?
At least in my games the spawns will often mix up so badly it's impossible to predict anything, this often happens when the match is at 50% done anyway.
There are two types of players - those who sweat all the time, play like crackheads (because of le CDL Pro influencers lmao) and think that they can mechanically win every gunfight and then there are those who just happen to be in the right place at right time.
I personally just find it pretty much impossible to be consistent in this game no matter how I try to play.

anon you replied to here, its mostly down to specific spawn locations on the map but in tandem to where the majority of where your team is located if you are all by yourself on one side of the map and your team is running across in the same direction you are looking then turn the fuck around because spawns are about to flip, the more you play the more you notice it

if you are a run and gun, make sure your ADS is as quick as possible if you are a slower player check corners etc and aim prior to going into a room its simple little things

play shipment and practise these things going in and out of cover quick turning on people flicking on targets i typically jump on shipment for a few games before 10v10 or 6v6

Don't be surprised if they have an unstated soft XP cap that makes it so you can only get like 7-8 gun levels per zombies match.
Though since it's round-based zombies without a bunch of dumb between-match loadout cooldowns this time, it'll most definitely be faster to end/restart matches to refresh the cap.

From what I've heard, CW Zombies was significantly less efficient on giving XP than multiplayer (I didn't see anyone talk about Outbreak).
Meanwhile MWIII's was only really more efficient if double XP wasn't on thanks to a hardcap. Without double XP, it would take you much longer to reach the cap, which mad it meant you were getting XP at a faster rate, but with it on the sudden stop would actually make it faster just to play multiplayer/Warzone LTM.

The overall idea of it looks fun, but when playing the beta it still wasn't fast enough to use all the time. It took a relatively long time to get up from a dive which could easily get you killed if you dove badly. Also the fact that when diving your body goes horizontal, making it easier for somebody to track you while shooting. And then there's landing partially behind cover with your legs sticking out.
Being able to fully 360 while prone without your character's body getting stuck on something is nice however.

The animations are on point and should have been something incorporated earlier. Prone on your back has been a thing since R6 Siege launched.

But the "movement" feels like you're sliding on astro-glide and the entire map is covered in kristol. Zero friction to be found anywhere and comes off as over tuned.

That's true in IV and V but SA still had some elements of exploring like in the old GTA games like finding spray tags and so on. CoD is just the same experience over and over again. Nothing changes game to game especially on small maps. Disbanding lobbies and sbmm killed all chances of any memorable moments happening.

Because it's a skin rather than a camo, all you can do is see if other battlepass skins with that "camo" (or at least pumpkin or demon ones so it half-matches) have an optic you'd like using.
That or you could put the STG's all-black Bold camo on and just accept that some parts of the gun will just be black, since that'd probably clash the least.
