Difference is when rdruids were meta, other healers could still easily get groups because all they needed was to heal
but this season is all about utility and with VDH not being able to solve most of the mechanics on its own anymore, RSham is needed for its kit rather than its throughput or profile.

Blizzard did a very strange thing with Forsaken.
Forsakens after cataclysm is a race that cannot exist apart from war and destruction of all living things (especially considering that we now know that Sylvanas has been serving the Jailer since the end of WOTLK).
So the way they are now trying to keep their old (post-cata) spirit alive by letting them use Blight and rebuilding Brill with their horror movie buildings looks as weird as possible. They need a complete reimagining of forsakens like they did in Cataclysm.

I hate Sylvanas' change on her perspective of the forsaken in cata
It always made way more sense for her to have only viewed them as a tool or means to acquire her vengeance against Arthas for what he did to her

I play a variety of healers and I've never had this much issues getting invites as mw or disc or even shaman in druid or pally seasons
Both rsham meta patches thus far have been absolute fucking dogshit for the other healers because of the sheer amount of utility they've provided lined up perfectly with that season.
I hope shamans are never fucking meta again after this season. Each time they have their day in the limelight it's fucking miserable for everyone.

There's really no point in speculating about this. WoW has almost never been written as a cohesive storyline, it's always been "we need this to happen, how do we sockpuppet the characters to get where we want?" and it did not fucking help that after killing off half of the WC3 cast, half of the writers left to make pre-Overwatch around mid-WotLK and left a bunch of secondaries and tertiaries to pick up the slack.

I unironically think the shift away from "evil" forsaken is pretty good for their race. I don't like how they've painted sylvanas as a villain towards her people and I wish there'd be more fanatical loyalists towards her since she literally gave people a second life but reverting the forsaken to pre plague lordaeron is good. Blizzard really dropped the ball in legion with the sylvanas stuff though. Without a new way to create forsaken the race is dead in the water despite being set to be one of the greater military powers on the planet. Having menethil loyalists would have been cool but calia being raised as a lightborn undead is super lame and a council for the forsaken is dogshit too. Devs should have gone the goblin route and had different barons take control of the undead sort of how trade princes work

One of my guildmates has a druid (615 ilvl) and his Regrowth + Swiftmend does nowhere near as much. Not that I'm complaining, I don't give a shit about Druids much one way or the other, but its just simply not true. The main issue is party wide burst people as well as massive damage on one or two people. They can do AOE low to medium level healing but beyond that I've more bad than good. Again, I don't have any money in this, I could honestly care less if I never saw a Druid in my games again.

JB is a huge fag who would make it so every healer did 2% of your total hp per GCD because he's a masochistic retard but the actual answer is that meta disparity exists for a lot of reasons and it's not as simple as buffing the losers and nerfing the winners. Shaman exists in the state it does because tanks are paper and every dungeon has the same damage profile of the most dangerous shit for your group outside of your tank exploding to random shit being specific 5man explosions every 20 seconds which shaman handles very well thanks to its rework. You also have shaman by happenstance having the proper utility for this season (and I really do consider it happenstance and not a conspiracy with shit like poison cleansing totem existing alongside devour etc etc etc) and that's not something you solve by just cranking hps numbers in the same way rdruids supremacy in the past was not just a case of "they shift into cat and do big damage". All JB wants is for them to take shaman out behind the barn and blast its fucking brains out but in the context of that season you're not going to have all the other healers finally unshackled free to join whatever 8s they want you're just going to have everyone be miserable.

The current state of healing has been a long time coming with how little changes healers have gotten over the years and for a proper healthy meta to exist you need like at a minimum three to four specs to get substantial reworks on top of sweeping balance changes but that's not something that will get done in a season even in a world where blizzard isn't bad with class balance.

I think prot is the coolest tank aesthetically I do think it could use some minor changes but the rotation and tools you have gameplay wise are fine for the most part, and SV hunter is the only hunter that still has the original bond with a single pet feeling of og hunter and the bomb spam is actually fun after years of ranged

There you go. I've just fixed mythic plus and removed most of the toxicity in it. The reality is that most people play m+ because its the best gear farm in the game not because its challenging. It's not. The greatest challenge in m+ is that you have to play with wow players who are notoriously awful at video games, even the one they've been playing for 20 fucking years. M+ should have always just offered titles/mounts/achievements and transmog. Retards will say "why run mythics then" but this proves my point. M+ is as toxic as it is because the majority of players aren't playing for the "challenge" but because of the rewards. You'll always have toxicity because players FEEL forced to run m+ or else they can't progress their character and this creates a player base that is already dreading having to fucking run m+. If they nerfed rewards in mythics they'd alienate too many people but they refuse to have other sources of crest drops. If we had other sources to farm crests and a way to que into m+, shitters would stop applying to your groups and the average ksh or ksm enjoyer would see their experience improve drastically. They won't do this because m+ is very literally only a way for devs to extend play time and share meaningless metrics with shareholders.
