Caster build has less damage than Prof / H. Wizard, but achieves instant cast (solo, with no food) and access to Pneuma and Heal. With the raise to job level 120 (seems almost certain) they'll have the same skill points as trans Sage / Wiz as well. It's a solid, and very fun, build.
Melee, well you have two builds in general.
Mammonite spammer, has about the DPS of a (non-rebirth) Blacksmith. Keep in mind you have no AoE skill.
Auto attacker, is somewhere around the DPS of a (non-rebirth) Katar Assassin. It depends a bit on how you build it.
However due to the Thief level flee you can reach as melee (same as on any server), and the extra HP they can get on this server specifically which makes them much less "actually get hit and you're dead"...
Melee SuNo can actually go many places you wouldn't think. But they will be killing things slower than other classes since they get damage steroids when they rebirth.
