Look. I like Sharen. I like seeing all of, or at least a significant portion of, a boss's health bar disappear with an Ambush sniper shot. I like being credit to team with Melting Rounds (if the effects of the ability wasn't so goddamn disruptive) and safe revives outside of Colossi. But being forced to play nothing but Sharen for the past week, because the fastest AMPs for the parts I'm looking for are odd numbered AMPs only available from stealth, is starting to get stale. You don't even 'need' Enzo to do vaults, he just makes them a cakewalk. The fact that SO many AMPs are locked behind playing one specific Descendant is just an such strange decision
I remember at launch you could exhaust all of an outposts spawns and then hack the consoles if the tubes survived. Or at least the Kingston one. I never got that to work anywhere else.

So both of the Ultimate scout rifles seem trash, but does the duration of Wave of Light's Solar buff at least increase with upgrade level? Because 1 second is like 3 shots at most with that weapon's fire rate. Unless the Solar buff is consumed when you trigger the Lunar debuff, then its even worse.

2 hp main stats, 2 def main stats. For substats you want each one to have gold in their respective resistance and +hp/def/mp/shd. This will give you at least 12k def (about 40% damage reduction) and a half decent health pool. It's highly advised to add a max health mod like stim accelerant. This will give you enough tank to stay alive as long as you dodge what can be dodged and keep an eye out for health drops. If you're shit at avoiding getting hit then add more health if you can.

It sort of scales multiplicatively with efficiency, but of course then you are looking at wasting two slots instead of 1. Plus the numbers you get are pretty small, so it's hard to notice. Max MP also doesn't synergise with in combat MP regen on one of your externals as well as efficiency does.

I'm running all three on my Viessa, but I aggressively don't like using guns whenever I could be a space wizard instead.

About the only character I can think of is maybe Lepic, who gets to fire his cannon for as long as he has mana to do so, so having mana lets you dodge the cooldown longer.

most characters tend to have two builds: one that involve guns and one that involves their skills. so if you're a fan of those things, game can be pretty fun.

Valby is one of the easiest descendant to get early specially when you start as Lepic but I suggest starting as Viessa because she is the only Ice element in the game giving you advantage of farming certain voice shards faster in the long run.

500 hours played.
I just finished farming every single descendant today. I'm still crafting Ult Ajax, Kyle, normal Viessa (just for mastery) and Yujin.
I have all ult weapons, some are x2-x5 with activator and multiple catalysts.

I loved the grind. Honestly.
Now I'm just going to chill and today I was already touching grass for several hours and going back to gym tomorow, gonna wait for Ult Valby and Luna.
Btw I haven't bought anything but the BP and I don't care about skins so I'm just going to keep buying caliber from time to time and let it sit.

It would be like Warframes Sorties, which at the time of their introudction was a good source of multiple key resources as well as the general picks up you'd accumulate just from doing those zones/missions daily.

Right now one of the challenges of TFD is how much targeted farming is needed and you feel empty handed if you dont get exactly what you need.

if Mega Dungeon is some kind of Daily or Weekly thing where you get signifant rewards just from completing it, it would be a good, consistent source of something worth doing.

But just remember you while the Reactors to crack open those AMPs are always in the same zone as the Outpost, there are sometimes options to get the needed Shards elsewhere instead of the exact zone the Reacto/Outpost are in.

I have pretty generic build with 4 crit modules, spell power, duration to achieve 14 sec, on top of that gold reactor with gold colossus damage and fire boost (couldn't find with crit), correct weapon with blue and gold fire rate modules.
Sometimes when I do Frost I see other Lepic delete boss in one cast of ultimate but when I attack boss, he rage at 50-80% of shield lost despite I focus my attacks on his weak points. What am I missing?

Level 40 Sharen with no Activator and a good sniper can do HM Outpost on herr own.

However you need to first figure out what you're actually farming for. Successful Infiltration in HM will give you a an extra but different AMP...do you actually NEED that Amp? Steril Land Rockfall gives AMP 60 and 61. 60 Is Ultimate Gley and 61 is Ultimate Lepic. If you only care about Gley, just run in with your Bunny and blow up the place.

welp, done with ultimates, close to the 200 hour mark
Bunny was the first I farmed (20+ hours alone on her), Lepic's Spiral Catalyst took me 60+ amps and several days of doing purely seed vault + pyromaniac, I did get something like 15 energy activator blueprints by the time I was done. I got lucky with Viessa and Ajax and they basically dropped while I was farming other stuff, except Viessa's code
All in all, not too bad, brings me back to the good old Warframe days

>Swapped to Gley Vestigal Organ to do early hard mode bosses
>Use any Catalyst blueprints that drop and craft them, throw them into Thunder Cage + U.Gley
>Swap to Massacre build with thunder cage, farm hard mode bosses with new build Gley and hard mode dungeons(?) with U.Bunny
>Eventually swap to python massacre
>Clear Frost Walker to access Molten Fortress
>Farm all ultimate characters and many ultimate weapons

Reactors with Sharen is basically the only way to do early farms until you're strong enough to clear hard mode intercepts, which isn't too hard a bar to clear, a properly built U.Bunny + Thunder Cage with energizers + a few catalysts will be able to contribute decently up to obstructer, the issue is the initial catalyst investment, which either requires reactor farming + getting decent luck or paying up. For me, having a buddy to do the void shard trick was a God-send for that early part of the game.
For you, Gley + Vestigal Organ will be able to contribute decently to early hard intercepts, something like this Gley build should be fine, the key is getting enough cooldown so duration > CD, even if it's by 0.1 seconds

not too sure about normal Gley, but I'm pretty sure you can do a budget vestigal organ build with her, the 'focus on X' mods can be rank 0, only the cooldown and duration mods have to be maxed. All damage will come from vestigal organ itself

there's 2 ways to increase skill damage.
>Skill Power
multiplicative based on the skill attack on your reactor.
>Skill Power Modifier
adds to the % damage on each skill. For example, Bunny's high voltage lightning emission does 250.5% of her skill power every time it hits. I have a maxed out Technician on (skill power modifier +50.8%) so it does 301.3% of my skill power whenever it pulses.
Generally speaking if the base modifier is low then adding modifier is better than multiplying skill power, and vice versa.

the main thing is reactor. I got this as soon as I finished the campaign, only decent thing on it was elec boost and I started shitting on everything right away without a build. 150k~ hits. Then I went with Singular and Electric spec, with a bit of crit, then rest on HP/range/cdr. I still hit for 1.2 mil with high voltage, 600k~ without it. Steamroll all content but can actually take a hit with 30k DEF 10k HP. Don't fall for the full crit meme bunny build. Sure you hit for more, but you end up with 3k HP and crumple way too easily.

they function the same way but different types of power are multiplicative while all sources of the same type are additive, i.e with +50% electric +50% electric you get dmg × 2, with +50% electric +50 skill power you get dmg × 1.5 × 1.5 which is noticeably more.

This is basically the core of it all. I can still use MP collector/Nimble and drop voltage for farming, Run a longer range version for easier kill farm etc. Lightning Emission without high voltage on this build will crit in the 600k~ range depending on enemy type, and with HV I see 1.2mil crits, with average non crit being over 700k. I am still re leveling atm but at max level it also has around 12k HP and 29k DEF so you are pretty safe too. Way comfier than pure crit shitters with paper thin HP.

I have -40% max MP and have more than enough MP to max my electric charge at the start of a mission/boss. Enemies drop refills often enough that I always have more MP than I need regardless and if I wanted to go infinite sprint then I could always slot in MP collector.

You didn't even look did you, or read anything I typed. I DO have DEF you spaz, just shy of 30k, I take very little damage from ANYTHING and my HP bar almost never drops below half unless I blow myself up. Bunny has insanely low base shields and scaling, shields are useless on her. Even before I used AMP every stray shot popped the shields and I would just tank it with my DEF/HP. Now I have even MORE HP and that uselessly small shield is now even more uselessly small. I am not arguing shields are bad in general, I am telling you on Bunny they are objectively useless and you can safely ignore it.

Yes, but I feel like having a longer lasting Light speed is better than my shields lasting 0.003 seconds longer. I guess if I think about it I use grapple more for speed/burst dps instead of LS but I will try it out.

no that is not how nexon work
let me give you a run down on what will likely happen.

Nexon is gonna pull the famous maplestory strategy, put an insane boss with insane exclusive rewards to dangle before the players to ride through the soon content drought.

Devs are butt mad that ppl found ways to kill the hardest bosses in the game within seconds and they are not let that happen.
Bosses will be like maplestory, where the boss have alot of immune phases where you have to dodge and survive, and "burst" phases where the boss is vulnerable and the whole party need to all use their buffs and burst skills.
Teams will mostly compose of a tanker and a healer to help survive the boss immune phases.
100% boss gonna have some bullshit mechanic where if you do not have a Ajax/Kyle shielding you, you are 100% dead.
Bosses also won't spawn adds that drop health and mp for you because that would make it too easy so having a healer is a MUST.
The new support character coming 100% would complement the team required to down the new bosses.

Expect pub party to only look for gley and epic as dps, no fun allowed. Bunny might be needed if the boss have a bullshit mechanics that spawns alot of stuffs you need to kill like in obstructor.
Using a non meta character or non meta build, you are just gonna get KICKED.
We've seen it happen on valby only runs, it's gonna happen again.
