I don't even know what to say, this song has left me speechless. The moment was already compelling as it is because of the story finally approaching its climax but this fucking song just blew me away. This song transmits the feeling of the whole world shaking, which makes sense as the vortex world is about to be reborn. The song feels so open and big, just like the world itself and the guitar melody playing while you approach the tower is moment that I will remember for a long time, now completing the tower is the only thing left.

Certain areas were really cool like the final dungeon and I liked the idea of sitting on God's throne. The boss themes were cool too.

Hikawa has gone down, he was an interesting villain. I really liked him, he reminded me of Kandori from P1 in a way. The bossfight against Ahriman was also really cool, I liked the entrance of the music in the second phase.

It would have to come from a Dharmic religion - but you can't really use Jainists since it is transtheistic and has no named gods or spirits.

Hinduism is also a no; while you have the goal of oneness with God (Brahman or its anthropomorphized representatives in Vishnu/Shiva), there is the eternal stillness which is contrary to the function of the multiverse as a "play/movie/game" for Vishnu.

Ultimately it must come from Buddhism. Maybe the Buddha himself but I'm ironically not very well versed in his teachings.

The alignment lock occurs just as you begin the final dungeon H. IIRC the womb takes note of your lock in the final sphere or something. Just progress naturally you're not missing out on anything as long as you keep up your sphere progress in between the dungeons.

This is my favorite boss fight in the game so far (have in mind im playing vanilla). Her skill that turns you into a fly forced me to swap demons in and out, and her two companions forced me to be more strategic so that they wouldn't heal her. It was pretty fun. Unfortunaly I don't like her desing as much as Noah or Ahriman and her cutscene was the weakest of the three. Now the only thing left is the disco ball himself.

This is why Nocturne haven't seen any proper discussion for over a decade as it was mostly just "reject god and punch him in the face" shit because nobody did any other ending.

TDE basically takes a shit all over the original game themes by offering a normal chaos route when the point of the game is offer routes that aren't typical alignments seen in other entries like SMT 1 or 2.
It also makes the story worse by throwing in shitty retcons(Hijri was actually a manikin all this time and he could never make a reason lul and he committed a great sin which means he's possibly le aleph????) or all the garbage lore dumps on why "cycles" are bad.
This was purely done in order to please people that didn't like the original vanilla Nocturne because it strayed too far from the series tradition and it shows.

I don't know anons, movie time is looking bleak I hate to say it.
Kosmi crashes when I try to start it and cytube only supports files up to 100 KB. Any other service will shut us down eventually for streaming movies. My only hope is if someone knows an upload site that imbeds video files. I might be able to link Kosmi to the url and stream a movie that way. It's going to be hard finding an upload for Tokyo Revelations and other obscure movies like the Teito Monogatari movies though.

I have tried chrome that's what I always used to use and it keeps crashing, I'll try out using opera and see if that makes a difference. If it still doesn't work I can pass some downloads for the other anon if he wants to try streaming.

I'm planning to make a fangame that takes place during NINE events as side story to said game, where you deal with yalda evil servants like Adam and Eve. Ashley ofc will be secret playable party member since she's a creation from idol space. There will also be somewhat ten endings that depends on your choices as the alignment system will leads into different routes and dungeons.
I'll probably use Godot or Unreal for this project since Unity isn't good anymore

I believe so, the advantage is that you can make your own game mechanics if you learn JavaScript, the language used in the MV and MV versions, but without actually needing to code everything single thing since the engine is already tailor-made for 2D RPGs.
Something more ambitious, like a fully 3D Nocturne/Persona 3 game however, is better done in Godot or Unreal since RPGMaker isn't really fit for 3D stuff
Unless you want to add the first-person dungeons from SNES era to your game, there is a free plugin you can find online called MZ3D which can easily convert 2D maps into simplistic 3D dungeons

I've started playing Megami Tensei II recently and I'm curious, does this game still want me to draw my own maps? The manual didn't really make a point of it like it did in the original game, and so far everything has been pretty straightforward, plus they put in that autopilot mode too which could automatically bring me back to an entrance.

The horror vidya genre is in a weird spot where M-rated horror titles are a dying breed unless it's related to a popular IP(Resident Evil, Silent Hill, Dead Space) while horror titles for children(FNAF, Poppy Playtime, Amanda the Adventurer) are thriving since it's more accessible to wider demographic since parents wouldn't mind their kids playing a game with spooky robots than shooting zombies with the shotgun.
So it makes sense why SMT V tried to be tame as possible with no blood or gore.

While the games aren't very bloody the books get kinda gruesome in FnaF. In one of the latest ones there's a girl hiding inside a mascot suit and one of the robots gets in it and it gets pretty descriptive of what happens.
