The main bonus for gold glitching for me was getting everything in the compound - easy elite every time. Combined witch back to back hardmoding made it really profitable but it did burn me out..
I have like 150m anyway, I have a grind problem and not getting back into cayo is likely best for my sanity and ""fun"" playing

I know this is probably a retarded question given tos and license agreements, but is it ever possible to get some sort of reimbursement for all of the time wasted on this game with them nerfing all of the half decent ways of making money in it? It's a robbery of my time. You'd think that a company would give you what you paid for with all of your investment, but of course they just keep fucking jewing you over and over and over. When you play this game, and invest the time to make money, you do so not thinking "Oh I will just make this 1.2 mil and then I'll be good", you do so thinking you are using it as a way to EVENTUALLY get something out of it over time, you are relying on whatever method you are using to eventually get you whatever your goal is, so when they randomly decide they'll nerf the half decent ways of making money, you are getting robbed, your investment loses it's worth.
Is there anything that can be done about that shit?

I'm honestly surprised that Rockstar is still nerfing Cayo, making the guards be not idiots in the compound was a good enough nerf to give a real challenge to it and add something interesting to anon's umpteenth robbery of the blond man. I'm not particularly upset about this nerf since the way I got rich was thanks to the gold duplication glitch on the diamond casino heist, having a heist buddy to do this was fucking insane, guaranteed $2 mill every hour. I still prefer the casino heist because if you find a heist buddy that's competent it feels good to do back to back heists.

2x speed doesn't really make me want to restock.
2x pay for stock might be tempting.
On paper both look like the same amount of money, but I don't actually like restocks and deliveries from the motorcycle businesses, so I don't want to do it twice as often.

Seriously Rockstar, it's this easy:
if you want people to play the Cayo Perico heist with other players instead of solo, then just let all 4 of the players all take home the entire haul instead of a fraction of it. It doesn't matter if the math doesn't work, because it's not real money and you can absolutely make it appear out of nothing.

yeah if anything they're rewarding glitchers, even if you could theoretically take home all the loot, the buff to the AI will make it tedious to loot the entire compound/island, cayo's nerf was fine as it was, this is their way to say they fucked up on giving players an easy money making mission instead of making you pay for gta+

According to Tez, secondaries (other than gold) are reduced by 10%, plus Coke's spawn rate is reduced in single-player lockups, while cash's spawn rate is reduced in two-player lockups. Also, the minimum safe value is now 20k instead of 50k (just for a little bonus fuck you).

At least a turbo makes an Emperor into valid transportation, and a usable blockade battering ram. It still won't escape the cops on the highway. Of course on dirt roads it will easily float away from the police while they struggle. More Benny's upgrades would be more options, but he usually doesn't make things faster, or at least not on things that Rockstar thinks could be a low rider. I would hate for the Emperor to get the shrunken wheel treatment like Benny does to the Tornado.

The manana custom is much faster than the stock one, and accelerates faster with much better brakes. Lots of the bennys customs transform it into a totally different car. If every player knew that these companies are almost completely relying on them, and they all know that they are being dished bullshit, they could cost these companies their money, so they would be forced to capitulate but they don't, it's the gamers that capitualate which is the complete opposite of how it should be. Next game comes, they don't just eat it, they deapthroat it, and I mean with regard to gaming in general. Mortal Kombat 1 for example is being released with day one dlc, 3 characters of which are important in the story, 2 of them being extremely important in the story and the main villains, and as far as I can tell, there is no outrage.
I'm guessing people just don't know enough or care to punish these companies.

No, but you being there, keeping the game alive and the numbers high is what attracts whales to it. So you are contributing to the game by being there in an indirect way.
Cayo solo to them is bad news because you're not in freemode lobbies engaging and showing presence, and that makes whales less likely to spend.
They know grinders are never gonna buy a shark card, but the streamer with thousands and followers makings video daily will and so their brain rotted followers and people with low restraint, but they still need you in your sit, just no too comfy

If a company is pumping out product and nobody buys, the main source of their income ceases, and you can give them a choice, go under, or capitulate to the customer, and give them what they want, if they take advantage of the customer again, then they can say fuck you to the company, and refuse to ever financially support them from that point on. I'm not talking about just refusing to buy shark cards or something like that, I'm talking about financially holding a company hostage. Most people don't think about things like that, but if enough people started to talk about the amount of sway customers have over companies, made people aware, and then pointed out the bullshit that these companies are up to, I don't think it would be impossible by any means to get people to start holding these companies hostage, take a few big youtube channels, have them talk about this shit, make customers realize their role, and it wouldn't really be hard, much easier said than done of course.

The motorcycle businesses and bunker still suck. The reason I ignore them isn't the potential pay. The missions suck, and playing the missions twice as often sounds twice as sucky. I have no plans to suddenly focus on grinding them this week. if you ask most active players theyll tell you they dont play cayo much because they get more than enough from passives. the real utility of cayo is for newer players to have a reliable solo money maker. there needs to be very fast ways of earning money when theres hundreds of millions worth of content staring down a new player. it also gives casuals a chance to hop on and just do a run to buy a new car. this just makes it harder to catch up just like the opressor price increase

You buy the supplies, the supplies will passively convert into product. After you stockpile an amount that you're satisfied with, you go to the business and start a sell mission. You will get anywhere between 1-4 vehicles depending on how much product you accumulated (i.e. 1-2 if halfway full, 3-4 if completely full) that you need to drive through a point or several points.

tip: If you are selling alone, try not to build up more than 2 bars of product

I started a few secondary characters and one of the first things I try to get my hand on is the HeavyMG, convert to MK2 as soon as you get a weapon bench and boom, you have the best gun in the game for killing NPCs.

it's 2 and a half hours if you do cayo perico solo, of course it shortens to 48 minutes if you do it with another player, i'm just saying how inefficient cayo is compared to the casino now, plus the spawn rates aren't guaranteed and unlike the casino heist you cannot reroll and guarantee yourself a hard mode to make more money, and unless you get 3 golds to spawn in the compound and get the diamond, you will make much less money (plus the $100,000 setup cost actually makes a dent in your profit)

Even if there is nothing but cash in the compound and if the primary is pink diamond, you will make more money in shorter time doing Cayo Perico than doing the casino. The ideal duo grind now is the same as it’s been since they added the cooldown. Cayo, Casino, repeat or cheat cayo. Nothing has changed. Solo players will just do cayo, reroll until you get a diamond and then do something else. Again, no change.

That's honestly pretty sad, flying to the island over and over again to get a diamond is sisyphean, i don't spend more than 4 tries in the casino to get what i want. Consider the time, setup costs you will go through to get that ideal setup only to be blocked and have to wait almost 3 hours to get the hard mode unlocked (and be sure to not miss that 48 minute window). I can get $1.5-1.7mill with a casino partner, considering the time spent and setup costs it comes out as the better option.

The missions and heists are repetitive.
The free mode with other people is pure cancer, by design.
There might have been a point where someone would hang out with their friends and show off what they had bought. I don't see how that can be a thing anymore.

If you finish GTA5 and you just want a few more missions, than I guess that's what you can get from online. It will try to rope you into businesses to grind instead of just going through a game narrative and feeling accomplished at finishing.

Why every time I finish a job in gta online on PC does the game immediately disconnect from servers and send me to story mode? It's every time, and because of this, I can't play through each consecutive mission of heist and reach the end, I can only do one mission, typically not the final mission that is the heist, and that's it.

I know it's a connection issue, I just don't know why I'm having it. I hardly have any connection issues in any other games. I can't do heists like that, and when I join others' jobs, I get disconnected from gta online upon passing them, thus, if it is part of a heist set up, I can't do the heist, which is bullshit. Is there any way to reroll your Cayo loot? For example, forcequit when you see the loot during the intel mission? Will that reroll it? Just close the application before leaving the island if you don’t like the primary. The primary is not chosen until you launch the intel quest and it doesn’t save until you finish it. You will have to restart the quest and go back to the island so set your spawn to the sub.

Lowriders are specific aesthetic that goes beyond "lowered suspensions", otherwise any slammed car would qualify. A hellaflush Golf on airbags would be a lowrider, by that definition. A set of 13 inch Daytons are so strongly associated with lowriders that you'll be hard-pressed to find a show quality car on anything else. You should, at least once. It's like GTAO's version of "Rush" from Battlefield games. It's super easy since you can just grab the Repeater loadout and pick off everyone with the marksman rifle. The range advantage is just too good most of the time.

I have finally completed my collection of the 25 (or so) NPC modded cars, not including the affiliated gang lowriders (because I can't spare 15 garage spots). Picrel ended up being the most annoying (amusingly, one of the few with no unique modifications).

I feel like I'm dangerously close to going down the rabbit hole of rare generic vehicles. I probably shouldn't. I don't even have the sea wash Tornado, obnoxious thing.

Not only can I not complete a job without rockstar disconnecting me from online services following it, I also have to completely quit the game in order to join bac into online, and that is assuming that it even works. I also was doing a setup mission for a heist, where you had to go to the lost mc garage area in the city and get bikes, and they weren't working, when I would get on the one, it'd tilt to the right, and it wouldn't respond when I tried to reverse, or accelerate, I had a teamate try to get on it, and it didn't work for him either, there were 4 you had to get and the other of the last 2 didn't even have a blue blip on the minimap and was unable to be interacted with at all. Is this a bug?

So did I, originally, but it turns out the guy who did the page on GTAForums was wrong. It's just matte yellow. Same deal with the red Sabre Turbo, where the secondary is just a normal spinnaker purple. I don't know if that's something that was changed at some point, or if it was always wrong, though. (And the third non-unique one is the chrome and yellow surfer.) All of the others have at least one unique thing about them.

If you use the GPS to set way-points, it can lead you down somewhat unintuitive pathways, so it's natural if they don't stick in your mind. A more natural way of navigating would be to stick to a big road until you get nearer to your destination.

There are two NPC modded Dubsta2s, and I think they're the ones I've had the longest. I don't remember them being particularly hard to spawn, you just need to have one to begin with (which you can get from Ms Baker and some freemode missions).

The Sandkings were definitely the easiest, got them both in two tries. The hardest part was remembering to steal a Sandking XL off the street when they were spawning. (Technically, the scientist Washington and off white Speedo were easier, but I'm not sure they count.) I feel like the LSC cars are the hardest in general, but the Surfers also took a while. The unaffiliated gang cars were pretty easy once I found out a good way to find them, though the blue Tornado took the longest.

How do I start just hacking and getting free money in gta online, or using exploits? In kinda a realistic sense, the only reason to even want the money is to buy stuff. At the same time, the cars are the current logical endpoint of a game that so heavily focuses on grinding. You basically get the money, just so that you can immediately feel like you can quit.

If someone wanted the most authentic GTA experience, they would get the most cheap-ass garage, and steal a car off the streets, and just play all the contact missions. Nobody plays those anymore because they pay bad, but those are most of the available game content. They are the game. if they payed as well as payphone hits, everyone would be playing them.

In story mode, doesn't anyone really give a fuck about the boring businesses until they run out of missions and have nothing to spend their billions on?

That's too bad. I guess it behaves the same way as nonstandard rim colors on PC, which go to alloy when you close the game if I understand correctly. That's one tiny advantage console has in exchange for not being able to paint stock rims like PC can (if you want to look at it that way). Does the interior do that too?

I looked this up and heard that it's some gay thing rockstar does to prevent cheating, which I'd guess is likely the case. Basically rockstar says "fuck you" right to your face and completely disallows you from making what they deem as too much money in a certain amount of time.
Does anyone know what the earning cap is and how long I have to wait to start earning money again???

Sometimes that just happens when your connection hiccups for a second while you get paid.
Most of the time it's just that one transaction that goes into the ether, if it's a mission payment it usually retries to pay you.
Rarely it will complete bork the payment system and you have to restart the entire game.

I then got 50,000 not by way of me cheating, there were connection issues and the rockstar services wouldn't connect, after which at some point I quit the game, than came back in, to see that the money remained in my account but I was able to complete the things I had completed to get that 50,000 again, so I took advantage of it and was getting 50,000 dollars twice in the span of about 10 minutes. It was an exploit, and if exploiting is cheating, then yes, I was cheating.

I should have clarified, was from a modder. Everyone in the server I was in got it I would guess judging by the chat.
The money which remained in my account upon quitting gta online, after the servers had disconnected, was the first 50,000 dollars I said I had received, via the method I began too repeat for the following 50k deposits, in case that was what wasn't clear.

The only redeeming feature of GTA Online is that you can play as a girl, have a spade tattoo on your face (but not on your ankle, butt, shoulder, etc) and pretend that you are a BBC slut.

GTAO Protagonist is not a real character, it doesn't have a single voice line, it doesn't even make a slight sound when wounded, it's merely a doll that is used to channel yourself into the game. Which is not really a bad thing, it's alright for an MMO because MMOs don't really have a story or important lore, though I like how in RDO they shifted a bit into giving protagonist a personality, they whistle to NPCs to greet them and grunt and yell when shot or fall from high altitude.

I wouldn't sell cars. If you're short on cash you can always join heists as a crew member, or grind freemode activities.
Then again, if you're in a hurry, I suppose there's no other option.
My advice for Cayo, you can get caught unlimited times the first time you explore the island, use this chance to get all the points of interests and loot info, you get a little award, and you don't have to do it ever again.
Also, if you can, invest in a Sparrow with missiles, it's great for the disruption if you wanna do an aggressive approach and takes you to any setup prep fairly fast
The rest of the sub upgrades are just for larping

a little more complicated than that, imho. yes, by forcing players to be online rockstar is ensuring that all businesses remain only semi-passive, but that might be a good thing since businesses that always ran might permit devs to set up the economy differently under the assumption that users already had those businesses. the idling methods we have now are all unofficial, and rockstar does try to patch them routinely, but i think i'd prefer that to rockstar accepting the glitches and then leveling the economy in retaliation

The cruise missile upgrade is used for destroying the Merryweather helicopter you'd otherwise have to follow across the map for 10 minutes if you get unlucky with the mission selection for the weapon prep.

Mansions are pie in the sky considering how apartments work. Even you got them, there'd be like 2-3 properties and it'd be like the penthouse but worse since it'd just be a home with not much fun to be had.

They were toying with interior decorating as early as 2016, they could absolutely do a lot more today. Look at the level of customisation afforded by properties like the Auto Shops and the Casino Penthouse. And there are dozens of mid and high level mansion locations they could use to keep players from all going to the same locations. Richman, Rockford Hills, and Chumash are all basically unused as far as properties go.

I'm new do you mean Assault on Cayo Perico? Is anyone playing that at the moment though? It's an adversary mode same as the Judgement Day ones which everyone seems to be doing right now bc of the 3x event

I thought so too the first game I played but I don't think that anymore. It's a matter of knowing the maps, either getting somewhere high and camping or finding somewhere really annoying on the ground that has a lot of cover that forces them to get off their bikes so you can run away / kite
On one of the maps VIII I think it is you can outright solo if you get to one roof because the only way up is one ladder that leaves them completely vulnerable during the climb. On the way to that building there's a shotgun and body armor. It almost feels like bullying you just have to hit them with the shotgun twice on the way up and they're dead and only once if the timer has run out and they've lost their powers. The only downside of this is the shotgun you pick up only has 8 cartridges so you can only do this a max of 4 times but either way even if theres 4 bikers and they storm up the ladder all at once and kill you by that point you've sufficiently wasted their time for you to win the match

The most braindead request ever.
It would just be a big house with a bunch of couches that you can sit alone or invite a hooker once and then forget it.
I already have 7 apartments I don't visit, I don't need an 8th bigger one.
For mansions to be interesting you'd have to change the entire game around it first.

Assault on Cayo Perico has its own option if you join a job on-call, should be one down from adversary modes

It's fairly easy to win if you use the DMR, and I win almost every time. Even if you don't win, earnings aren't that far off from Judgement Day which I don't mind because it's honestly a lot more fun

Both of your replies are to my posts. I appreciate the loadout suggestion I was almost about to ask you what you recommend earlier. I got into a full lobby as a defender and we dominated they didn't manage to blow up either radar and everyone on our team only got 55k so I don't know where you're pulling that figure from
I like Judgement Day and it's (currently) paying out a lot more
