Unironically replace the class with Tinker, SV becomes "bomber" and BM becomes "Engineer" planting turrets and releasing mechanical pets. Give the pet taming skill to Feral druids so they can have a "pack" and finally *finally* give us a Thrown Weapon spec, merge Ass and Sub rogues and the open slot is now Skirmisher or whatever, the new hit-and-run spear/knife/axe/boomerang/glaive class.

My Legion/BFA main was a Tauren SV Hunter. My heart burst with pride and joy when I got the Eaglespear, a true Tauren artifact made explicitly for my class fantasy. I was very disappointed two months later when I realised that my spec still played clumsily, nothing merged well and nothing felt as impactful as it should.
The reason I loved the SV tree was that it made my hunter a fully rounded solo player. Back when ranged weapons had a minimum range and couldn't be used in melee at all, and hunter being the only class with a ranged auto attack, putting points in SV made you feel like you were never unprepared. then they dumbed down the equipment, only one main weapon slot and an offhand, and ranged weapons not requiring range at all anymore and the whole point of SV falls apart. The whole point of a *melee* hunter falls apart. Whether it's SV or BM, whoever gets to equip melee weapons should just have an auto ranged attack regardless because it's just aesthetics. "Aspect of the Eagle" is a perfect ability to turn into a passive and affect auto attacks. People don't want a "melee hunter", they want a class that is not inherently vulnerable in any single situation and all the hunters do that now (disregarding the fact that they are squishier than mages sometimes).

if the leak is true it makes perfect sense, blizzard has been coping and seething since classic vanilla was relaunched and in all liklihood retail has significantly less active players than classic, they tried very hard to lure in more suckers into that terrible game and have largely failed.
If you look at the twitch streams for wow, 90+% of them, almost every single one, are for HC classic, its simply the most popular variant of the game overall, the numbers for it dont lie, if they make content for it, its an easy win for them.
I didn't think they'd ever do it because the company makes fuckwit calls all the time but i guess the numbers finally convinced those dirty klkes to throw a bone to the cryboomers who only play vanilla.
The fact that Dragonflight is constantly on 50% sale says it all.

Arguably, that is because Orcs and Ogres are all part of the same evolutionary family and can produce (potentially infertile) offspring, like mules and jackasses. Garona (half-orc-half-draenei) is an oddity that is mostly being handwaved away, while Med'an is forgotten and memoryholed. Meanwhile, Half-Elves such as Arathor and Vereesa's demon twins can be explained as humans being inherently titanic and high elves being so suffused with Titan influence that they can merge relatively easy.

Back in the day, yes absolutely. "Mongoose bite"/"Raptor Strike", all the "stings" inspired by poisons from animals - Classic SV was destined to be the BM spec that focuses on companions and animal aspects. SV could still have been the trapper spec.

Shadowlands dropped lots of references to the universe being some sort of deterministic machine they created with Azeroth being the focus, the story is likely moving towards the universe being a giant incubation machine to birth a new First One and Azeroth is basically it's egg. its retarded but Blizzard also has a habit of just hard retconning and abandoning plots so who fucking knows if any of the shit that happened in that god awful expansion will matter - though them going out of their way to remind us it is still canon and important to their story direction in DF isn't encouraging

All it took is one anime hair cardboard cutout spouting some recorded lines saying "Maybe the Horde is le not so good?" to make all the Alliancels jump into one frothing rage and rally behind because up until Varian came along, all the other Alliance leaders didn't even remotely capture emotional sentiment like Thrall from the playerbase. For all it's worth, it should have been Tyrande wearing not her silly cocktail dress but pic related with lots of totemic feathers and saberteeth dangling from her shoulders and cloak, whipping the Sentinels into a frenzy for the Warsong atrocities *still* being committed in Ashenvale.

Also Shalamayne is his magical sword that technically was two swords (Elemayne and Shalla'tor) and when combined fused his own split personalities back together to "unlock its full potential". the best thing is that with the First Ones and Zereth Mortis, they've already set up in-universe ways of introducing this. You can just have "Zereth Ordo" as a sort of "testing zone" for creation that players have access to and they then submit their creations through some sort of community portal integrated into the game. the thrall - saurfang dynamic was one of the few good bits of BfA. honestly, some of the BfA story wasn't even that bad, it was the endgame systems and the whiplash later in the story that was bad.
If Sylvanas was the final bad guy in a sort of Siege of Orgrimmar 2 raid and 9.0 was the Void expansion instead of 8.3, the story would've been received a lot better

unironically though, most of dragonflights problems are not because of dragonflight, they are because shadowlands from 9.1 onwards was so bad that it burned out of drove away literally 90% of the playerbase, Dragonflight is a decent expansion, not amazing, but above average I would say overall, however it cou7ld have been the unquestioned second coming of WoW and post shadowlands it would still have struggled, such was the void of enthusiasm left by shadowlands. Even I, a die hard WoWer who is subbed on two accounts and having a good time, had a real hard time feeling any hype for it and am playing it only casually. I Played slands all the way through and by the end I was simply exhausted of the bullshit. I even liked ZM but Korthia was trash, and the constant Trannygos/Sylvanas/Evil Anduin does evil things tragically rotation capped off with "she a good girl she dindu nuffin!" just drained my ability to give a shit about wow story completely and at the end of the day the story does need to move the game along. I've barely interacted with the story patches this expansion because of it.

The game is more accessible to casuals than ever. I don't know if catering to the 1% is true, but major gameplay decisions have been and ARE balanced around them. We lost masterlooting because mythic guilds wouldn't give new recruits gear. We lost personal loot because 3 guilds in the world did split runs. We got an AOE cap for several years because like 40 people playing high level m+

Racials get nerfed, again, because of 3 guilds in the world. PvP is EXCLUSIVELY balanced around Gladiators in 3v3. They still refuse to allow crafting to be its own thing and must be tied to scaling difficulty to make better gear. I mean they full nerfed that ring from the vault in 10.1 because mythic players complained about "having" to get it on alts even though it's an old patch (soul btw)

I'm pretty sure character transfer is still 25$ because it's an entire source of income on mythic raiders alone hopping guilds
