Choosing Sky FC as your first Kiseki game is the ultimate litmus test for whether a person is capable of serf-governing.
To start a series where all games are in the same universe and share the same characters and interconnecting plotlines with the first game in the series easy, convenient task and one which we all recognize as the correct, appropriate thing to do. Starting Kiseki with Sky FC is objectively right. There are no situations in which a person is not able to start with Sky FC. Just like Chaos Brand, starting with Sky FC is truly a gamble. If you start with Sky you may drop the series before the end of Chapter 1. Perhaps even before the end of the prologue. You'll drop the series before you get to the arc you actually want to play (most likely any arc that isn't Sky).

I started trails with Sky FC and the worst trails game still Cold Steel 3
I was expecting a slow game but a game with substance and new things at least
new class vii sucks the ''new'' is a hoax, more like ''newstalgia''
Juna is a retcon to bring Crossbell again
Kurt is Laura with a d*ck and another Vander for sky fags
Altina is Fie 2.0 or Tio 3.0 or KeA 4.0
Musse is fucking garbage character
Ash is the only interesting character until he was another retcom, they bring Hamel again

I wanted to see new things. Go to Jurai and North Ambria. Eryn and Alster. Not Bareahard 2.0 (Saint Arkh) and Bareahard 3.0 with a port. Neither Celdic 2.0 or Crossbell/Hamel again.

The game doesn't advance the plot until the end and in the end they throw exposition after exposition. It would be much more interesting to discover things little by little. Osborne barely appears in CS3.

The new class 7 only extends the story and then worsens the problem of the bloated cast. In CS4 there are 16 main characters and Falcom doesn't know how to give anyone good development.

Furthermore, it was CS3 that introduced the curse, it started with the joke of bringing characters back to life and creating obvious fake deaths for shock value.

Even CS2 is better. EVEN GARBAGE KURO 2 IS BETTER THAN CS3.

I like the Trails of Flashes series but if there's anything I hate about the arc it's Arisa. I don't know exactly why, but every time she appears on screen I just skip the dialogue and pretend she doesn't exist. It's not just for shipwars. Obviously a lot of factors go into effecting a game's overall sales. However, week one sales are disproportionately affected by pre-release factors such as the quality of previous game entries, and marketing. The quality of the game being released often doesn't have a great effect on week one sales because people don't know how good the game is going to be before it comes out.

In Kiseki's case, it's pretty obvious with game after game decline during the Cold Steel era that the franchise has been losing an audience in Japan, while failing to attract new players to make up for those losses. Kuro at least has managed to stop the decline somewhat.

Osborne is a huge disappointment. The plot twist of him being ''good'' doesn't work cause the same plot twist was used several times during CS4 and his revelation occurs after the revelation that McBurn wasn't a bad guy either.
Claire is also terrible but the worst antagonist arc is without a doubt Black Alberich and Sharon (The Reinford arc in general is dogshit)

Falcom doesn't credit someone who left, even if they used their works. You will not find Momiyama in Zero Kai credits, only Sonoda and Unisuga.
There are some exceptions though.

my ass, except if you think that quantity and padding equals quality. Final Fantasy, Persona, Tales of, Disgaea, Xenoblade, Phantasy Star, Star Ocean have much more complete titles with much better-made stories than Trails. The only unique thing about Trails is the massive story spreading though 12 games and the big amount of named NPCs. CS3 story makes games like Zestiria or FF15 look like a masterpi- ''That won't be necessary''

no it's not, you literally need a pc of a high standard to emulate anything on yuzu well, it's a poorly optimised emulator.
with a 2060 or less, you'll run into severe issues emulating most games on yuzu.

CS4 is garbage though and retroactively makes CS3 a lot worse. Also CS3 is the longest Cold Steel game it's disgusting how long that game is compared to the rest.

Only at Chapter 2 so you're right, the quality may take a dip. But I dunno. It's nice being in Crossbell again.
The smaller Class VII is nice because I actually give more of a shit about them, since screen time isn't divided among them so badly.

I miss them but I also understand why they cut them out as they wanted to speed up encounters and make the transition seamless. Party members still banter with eachother after battles but it just happens through voiceover instead of a dedicated screen.

It's comfy. Character development of new class VII is pretty good. Last section of the game in Heimdallr is pretty hype. I wish you went to more places across Erebonia and that the game was shorter, it's still a CS game so it's not very good, but it's definitely the best of a bad bunch.

Kurt has no personality, Juna just realises she's in love with Rean, Musse and Ash have no character development, and Altina is just an incredbily boring "emotionless girl isn't so emotionless after all" story. Overall, definitely the worst cast.

Dark Dragon is ruined by the awful dungeon, and the only good part of Spiral of Erebos is the ending. But only on the first playthrough before you realise that Cold Steel 3 never actually had an ending, unlike every other game with a cliffhanger.
