I also played GBVS with a guy from the IlluminatiCord. I posted about it in their CEOtaku channel, but only one guy responded to me, a Vira player. Perhaps I waited too long to say anything. But I'm really not that sociable. It's like that one Mindless Self Indulgence song from their first album that's incredibly different from everything else they've made.
Anyway, if I ever do this again, I want to use a different format. Something closer to the tournaments I like to watch. With less downtime. I want to do a single elimination FT1 2v2 team tournament for Nitroplus next time. In fact, I’d just do singles, but I figure having the draw of teams would get certain people more interested. Of course, this is all just a theory for later, nothing actually planned. I’m not really going to be playing fighting games much in the near future. None of the new releases really interest me and I’ve done what I want with the games I play.
Now is the time for my renewed focus on art, writing, et cetera. I want to write a new Griswold story about an incredibly violent Punisher-like vigilante in the real (enough) world, improve my drawing with the Naoki Saitou method so I can start making comics, perhaps even work on my concept for a fighting game which I’m now calling Blades and Beasts, et cetera.
Overall, it was okay, but if I ever go back to CEOtaku, I would hope to do it as a vendor because I improved my art skills well enough where I can sell little trinkets of various Examu and SNK characters that I like.
>>447769780Thank you. And yes, we played together quite a lot. Fear, Connect, and Ultrashock came to our room pretty often. You can check out the livestreams on zuul's channel to see some of what we did, though it cuts out a lot due to the poor wifi there.
