I used to hate anime skins, then I realized I fucked up my settings lol. Switched to nvidia dlss and they looked a lot better.
I would like a normal artstyle too, but something looks weird with the one we have currently (when you turn off the cel shaded look for the skins that have that option)

Given how Chapter 5 is supposed to have a brand new item shop I assume they'll sell the passes like the bundles they currently have for real money but you get none of the v bucks and none of the super styles (red/blue/gold whatever)
original owners get a special galaxy version of their battlepass skins
finally there will probably be some kind of legal issue with collab skins in the bp so no lara croft or whoever's not fortnite original
other than that I would say that's a fair tradeoff

I'd say run it in a dual system: One a player hits 100 they can season will have an action to renew an old or incomplete battle pass and let the player either do challenges for them or trade a secondary battlestar currency built up over the normal season but unusable on current pass. I already own founders, I bought it back when it was out, that post is missing the word Ray. Every StW pack after founders is one I don't bother with because I already own StW and unlike the normal shop any StW related packs don't actually account for if you already own the pack meaning something like the ray pack was full price for content that I already own. I think it has something to do with dealing damage to enemies while near someone and ignoring them, a few seasons back I did this with someone and got kicked only after we started killing people. You can give fortnite custom backgrounds by putting a file in the right folder with the loading screen and renaming the new file to the lobby screen image's name. You will have to fix it everytime it updates or checks for corruption though.

For the cost of an iPhone 15 you could build an exponentially better PC that could continuously be upgraded. After 2 or 3 years gaming phones begin to run like shit as well (my wife is Asian and even she abandoned mobile gaming for PC). Phone gaming is still about 15 years away from being decent at best

You're also forgetting the fact you're going to have 90 minutes of play time at best before the battery dies. That's with a brand new phone as well. If that phone sees half as much use as a console the battery is going to be dead in a year. So you're going to be forking out a couple hundred a year to have that battery shipped off to apple and replaced all while being a month without your phone. God the whole phone is going to be fucked in a year if it's going to be used as much as a console - which is exactly what apple wants.
