MK1 ended up actually being fun. But invasions are is kinda boring and I already read almost all the spoiler from story mode, plus the Kombat League rewards aren't that good

thought question. both are good but MK1 is more casual friendly in case your prefer that. I never touched world tour so i can’t say that much about that.
If we are talking about online, the SF6 is better since it have a proper ranked and crossplay.
MK1 is better if you prefer singler player stuff due to collecting shades, gears, the invasions mode (which idk if it is better than WT but it can get boring from time) and story mode which is fine so far but i didn’t beat it, i am at chapter 3.
Both game have a great combo flow, i would even say mk1 more than sf6 if you get used to strings, but it also means mk1 will be more unbalaced tha sf6 (we can’t know yet because the game just release, tier list need a couple of weeks before they’re made)
SF6 have more coom factor tho.
In the end, it’s about taste. Both are equally matched, and I would even say that technically SF6 is superior, but i am too biased towards MK.
But none of this matter because we all know the true fighting game of the year is Nickelodeon all star brawl 2.

It seems like Street Fighter would be better for me. I'm mostly interested in online modes and the coomer appeal is definitely a plus.
Now I will check how it runs in a 3060 to see if I should get it on PC or PS5.

No, IF is not "the" goddess, either. She is not a goddess of any kind. She has no meaningful feats outside of a shitty, non-canon spinoff crossover with a shitty dead franchise no one gave a shit about from day 1, a spinoff no one but you will ever give two shits about. A spinoff that will never, ever, ever be acknowledged ever again. She is not divinity of any sort, she did not create the neps, she is not the president, and canonically she's one of the weakest and least cute of the neps. THAT is the truth about it, and none of your retarded headcanons will change any of that. She is irrelevant. She'll never be playable ever again. The most she'll ever see is a cameo, because no one, not even the real life Compile Heart or Idea Factory, actually gives a shit about her. She was barely relevant in HDN, and became even less with every successive game. Mk2 was her sendoff before they threw her down into the dregs of irrelevancy and jobberhood. She is a weak crybaby who breaks down over broken cellphones and she pisses and shits herself over anything resembling a real threat.

IF will NEVER be a goddess. She will NEVER be playable ever again. And your cringe headcanons will NEVER be accepted, not even reddit or discord is willing to accept your bullshit.

The other games made by Compile Heart don't have as much broad appeal or aren't as well-known/franchised like Neptunia is. Neptunia is over ten years old and has a ton of merchandise, collabs with other games/developers and an entire anime season with a few one-off OVAs. All the other games didn't get anything because "it's not Neptunia" which is sad, because I personally think Death End reQuest is better than Neps; it has all the things I like about Compile Heart games with a sprinkle of mystery, horror and character cast variety.

Kinda hard to shake off the very thing that made your company known around the industry, but at this point it's very evident that there's little drops in the bucket for new ideas to keep Neptunia going. Compile Heart being a Japanese company, they can't give the fans all of what they want, but instead it's just enough to keep them interested, much like all of what happened at the last Neptunia Fan Fest a few years ago, when the second OVA was announced.

I also think Compile Heart is going through a shift of new talent, since SvS feels very much like a project made by interns:

Skelters are far more popular in Japan than they are in the West. I do think Finale did a hell of a lot better than GameMaker. A lot of Japanese fans made a huge deal about Finale when it was announced, to which the Western fans came crawling out from the woodwork thinking it was Neptuinia that'll be having its last game when it was Mary Skelter this whole time. Shows you where the bulk of the fans are.

Anon, I'm talking Japanese sales here since they're the only hard numbers we have. Skelters are niche as fuck even in Japan. The first one opened up at about 18k which was an excellent start for a non-Neptunia franchise... about on par with the spinoffs during the latter Vita days. Then it dropped off to 10k with MS2, and MSF barely held that onto that. I can almost guarantee you it sold better in the west through sheer numbers alone, but regardless Skelters are hyper niche.

Still, MSF did just barely squeak by Big Nep's game, which really shows how far Neptunia has fallen from grace.

Not to defend CH for doing that, but I think that was because they didn't have any passion for the series after VII. I can imagine that's why they wanted to do other things because they were burned out on Neptunia and wanted to do something else plus they can't exactly go super edgy with Neptunia (though the one time they did people hated it). It's can happen to any video game series. Look at Megaman or the early Tomb Raider games. Hell, Core Design were so sick of it they straight up killed Lara in Chronicles.

Plus even if we did get mainline games every year in place of all the spinoffs, I'm willing to bet fans would have eventually gotten sick of the series. Hot take here, but if they don't have the same passion and enthusiasm for the series as they once had; then I don't think we should force them to keep making them cause they won't have the same amount of love, care, and soul put into them.

I get that Nep is in a bad spot but I don’t understand why you anons say this. How much merch does Nep have compared to Derq and Skelters? Skelters are still not in the Nep and Friends app and probably never will be. Derq is STILL waiting on a third game and MS is fucking dead. Maybe they care more about DAL? I don’t know much about that to say.

It's okay to set aside a series for a while... what's not okay is treating their flagship franchise like an ATM and trying to milk the fans with an oversaturation of shitty, low effort spinoffs made by third party developers with even LESS passion for the franchise in question. If they didn't wanna make any more Neptunia games, then they should have shelved the franchise for a couple years or more while they work on other projects. But I guess we have a central problem here, because Neptunia keeps the fucking lights on and CH are working on the tightest of margins at 10 - 18k sales on a good day. Quit buying into the IFfag's retarded memes. VII sold fine for what it was. It did around 35k sales in Japan during its launch year, which is admittedly about 10 - 15k down from the franchise's peak, but still excellent given the PS4 still had a significantly smaller install base in Japan than the PS3 or even the Vita at the time... and still sold better than the two spinoffs that also released that year.

To put it another way, if VII really had been a failure, they wouldn't have chosen to invest the resources into remaking it for VIIR and they wouldn't have chosen it to be their first Switch release.

The franchise is dying. It's reflected in the merch sales, even. Go check around Japanese retailers, figures that were released upwards a year ago or longer are still in stock and they're starting to drastically slash prices. Merch sales are down across the board as fandom interest dwindles into nothing. The consequences of treating this franchise as easy money are being manifest as we speak. I'm not sure there's any way to save it now. I want to be wrong, but I don't see how they're going to win people back.

Yeah but as much as I hate western media nowadays I gotta admit the west will always have a few cultural media icons that will last forever and even future generations will know and appreciate while Japan relies on FOTM way harder than the west so all anime and manga nowadays feels soulless, like you use it once then throw it away instead of something you will keep and remember fondly for the rest of your life.
There's no way to save Neptunia now. It's past its time now. It's over for Neptunia unironically.
Without Neptunia, the only hope for Compa is they make a new IP that gets incredibly popular or be acquired by a bigger corpo.

Imagine being this fucking ignorant when Evangelion has been in a constant state of shilling since the nineties. Or how about Gundam? Mazinger? Doraemon? Hell, just looking at video games alone you've got Mario and Pokemon. Not to mention loads of Japan centric series are still going today, some which have been getting constant streams of new shit for nearly half a century. Japan has a ton of cultural icons. It's exactly the same as the west... you get a lot of FotM shit that fades with time, and every now and then you get something so well loved that it cements itself into the zeitgeist for decades to come. But it's hard to tell when it's so concentrated on the other side of the world and it takes decades to show which is which in the end.
