I grew up on WC3 (og DoTA) and AoE2, those games were much more comfy than League, unfortunately yeah people I came across played League and it seemed familiar to DoTA and I ran with it, don't think it was a terrible decision overall since still focused on life but I do kinda regret not picking up DoTA 2 instead at times due to the og DoTA. Though League is raunchy as fuck and kinda stupid at times so in a way has it's charm.

Not like you can play League anymore, you do you man. Also I don't think Kaisa can really buy Zhonyas, well, she can but it's not as convenient as before due to the build path being different. The only champ similar to her in terms of dps/hybrid build that would make sense would be Jax, though situationally.

I get what you mean, but what you're saying is highly contaminated by your own feelings towards the champion. Go take a look at stats, Ahri has a pretty high winrate while also having more pick rate than most champions, even if you consider only players at or above Master.
She's not slightly better than other assassins, she's better than most other champions.

Mostly correct but:
Azir is THE pure AP Marksman, he should be in that group.
Kennen isn't a marksman considering how people play him, and the 5 people who actually play him as a marksman go full AS/AD instead. He should be with Vlad.
Viktor shouldn't be with Vlad. He is 100% a control mage, and he isn't really a battlemage.

I can't see Zyra anywhere, she should be in Battlemage/control mage.

When you go AP TF you end up building Lichbane and often RFC, so he's rather close to an AP Marksmen. Still, I don't think he qualifies. Using autos doesn't make you an AP Marksman, you have to focus on building for autos for you to qualify.

IMO just look at builds. Does that ranged mage build Nashor's? If yes, then he is an AP Marksman. If no then don't include in that group.

i build nashors as the final feather in my cap because i wanted the CDR and now i want the AH because i'm a psychopath, and i did things you can't do anything, i'd always open dblade instead of dring and then get both with a catalyst on first back, and have to explain my next level build to my team in lobby, and my ultimate feather in my cap was to sell the dblade for gunblade, then i have sunstain and a double charge of a single target oblierate you button in an endgame teamfight

Poppy is good because her w is one of the good aoe anti mobility/animation cancellation spells to deny engages, only champ I can think that can do that is Janna with her ult. There's just too much mobility in this game sometimes, it feels only right for some to have a counter.

Viktor is definitely a battlemage. Its what Riot primarily categorise him as because he has a lot of sustained damage. Burst mage is harder to argue imo.

Its not exhaustive, though I wouldn't put her as a battlemage because she is a very squishy backliner.

Leaving Plates might be fine. The real issue is the Support Item. It gives too much sustain and gold to the Support. Which let's them pick Control/Artillery Mages and harass the enemy team out of lane. Throughout the history of League mana and hp were the main bottlenecks to Support. No one played mana hungry champions in Bottom/Support, because they would go Out Of Mana. This overloaded and overpowered Support Item has with increased gold generation, minion executes, and sustain has made the lane match-ups Bottom-side way more volatile. Thus, we lane swap now in those match-ups, to ensure our carries can attain gold effectively.

There is a reason old Riot removed the gold generating items after Season 1-2. It's because they were breaking the flow of the game. I don't know why Riot brought them back, other than they're stupid.

The only thing Riot can do to stop lane swaps is to delete the Support item. Because then the Support/Bottom Lane match-ups would be far less impactful.
