Well last time the amount of characters that were already revealed and had music to be posted perfectly coincided with the timing of Mai revealed. We still have Billy, Gato, and Dong's music to post. Though I guess they could just not be doing that this time and it doesn't really matter.

I haven't really played much KOF before but I'm pretty interested int the new Fatal Fury game. Managed to play a couple games at the setup at Evo last year, and recently I've been playing Garou on fightcade with a friend.
If I'm aiming to play Jenet in CotW would it be worthwhile to grab KOFXV to play her, or would I be better off sticking to Garou? Main reason I never got into KOF is team games have always been pretty intimidating to me. That and looking at the player numbers on Steam I imagine I'm only going to be able to find matches against bloodthirsty Mexicans.

Garou generally has less players due to being an older game even if it's still supported by SNK + popular to emulate on fightcade. She'll probably control closer to KOFXV's anyway. But any of the games should be fine there's not much to practice with since she's only in like 5 games tops

KOF is a series I've never really properly dipped my toes in where I've put a lot of time into everything else, even if after all the blood sweat and tears I'm kinda shit at everything, so I wouldn't mind giving it a real try. I played a bit of 2002 on Fightcade (against my friend who is new to fighting games, I'm not gonna bother facing the cracked fightcade spic army) and Shermie seems pretty cool so if I grab XV I was gonna do Shermie+Jenet+???. The only team fightans I've played are tag games, KOF follows the general Point/Battery/Anchor team comp right? If Jenet/Shermie work in that, who woudl compliment them? I was thining of just using another big tiddy girl for Team Bombshell, or maybe Hinako for Team Cup Sizes.

kof15 is very fun, but it's pretty divorced from the older games. be sure to practice light confirms and mastering hops and movement in general.

for jenet/shermie that's already a solid team, you can try athena if you want a simple point

You can play Atomiswave version on Fightcade via flycast-dojo.

SNK were the masters of pixel art. I know I always say the same thing, but 2D fighting games should never have made the jump to the 3D graphics engine.
And yet SNK still has the touch.
COTW has nothing to envy of anyone and even less of SF6 with its boring stages.
The amusement park, the biker bar and the forest are great.
