The more DMG% you have, the less flat amounts of DMG% matter. This applies to every stat in the game, you want to have healthy balance of everything your character's damage scales off of. For most characters DMG% is scarce and Bennett exists for huge ATK buffs, which is why DMG% Goblet are almost always the way to go.

Tighnari is the first dendro and it makes sense for him to be on the standard banner.
Meanwhile there was 0 reason for Dehya to be on standard.

Also Tighnari was a literal who while Dehya was a very hyped and highly anticipated character by the time she released.

the only reason people hated on dehya was post release with how broken she was and how badly she under performed and still does if her kit was quality tested first and the bugs patched prior to release instead of the state she was in on day 1 she would have gotten a ton more hype they actually killed her off completely.

When taking into account PX and Playstation sales, Genshin sales are likely stomping every other gacha and are on par with Star Rail, if not doing slightly better.

Genshin sales are likely declining, due to cannibalization with Star Rail, the lack of new five star characters in the back half of the Sumeru patches, general player fatigue for a three year old game, and a lack of new players due to having nearly 100% market awareness and everyone already playing or having played it.

However, despite these declines, Genshin is still the largest or second largest gacha game on the market by a wide margin and is still plenty profitable.
