Your name is David "Gunny" Rockefeller, no relation.
A veteran of the united states marine corps, you find yourself in a far-out situation after an all-too-close encounter of the third kind!

In the last thread, you finished cleaning up after your battle against the Federation Drone-ships, including a number of wraiths and demons that were drawn in by a dark-matter spill.
After disconnecting and gathering up the AIs that were piloting those drone ships, your crew spent some time fixing up the ship, and in the downtime you finally bit the bullet with Cylia.

A quick visit to the Dark Star base later, your plans for dealing with the remains of the drone ships came together and you made your way back to Thekia Station, where one of your crewmates had created quite the mess.
Now it seems that he'll be staying behind here, to make use of the resources and manpower that he's collected for himself. Those same resources which may come in handy for the coming conflict against Xebric Station and Sadia Corporation.

Tai Lung Quest 23

!!e08cz8ZGDS2 ID:G01iq4cM No.5376684 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
“I want China to prepare for war. The Great Wall needs to be ready for an attack, our armies should be coordinated and ready to fight. Our days of peace may be at an end. But we cannot just invade Mongolia. If we do, then any tribes that have chosen to not participate in the invasion may find even more reason to align themselves against us. A small elite force needs to be sent in to deal with the people behind this. Hopefully, we can bring those hesitant to our side and demoralize our enemies in the process. The Five need to stay here to defend and keep morale up. If China’s most famous fighters suddenly disappear, then the public will become suspicious. Not to mention that there will need to be someone to remain behind and prevent any more damage from occurring. I’ll be the one going to Mongolia. I’m the only one with experience fighting them, the skill to handle it, and no one will particularly care if I die trying. Not to mention, the sooner I leave the country, the safer a lot more people will feel. The problem is that the nobles will no doubt try to prevent me from doing that simply because of who I am, regardless of how much good it can do. That’s why I need your help. I know which nobles will support my suggestions and which will oppose it but if the Five are backing me up then they at least might consider the idea to be sound. Perhaps it might be better if someone else suggested the plan as their own.” You explain as you take a seat and grab a small sandwich from the tray. You quietly play with it, not feeling particularly hungry at the moment but unsure of what to really do with your hands.

“I think it would be best that you present the plan as your own.” Hien admits. “Should anyone else do it, it will bring up questions. Why would Master Shifu suggest it instead of The Five? A criminal over China’s greatest heroes? It wouldn’t really make much sense. Although it might have some merit if we can figure out a way to make it seem like the more logical conclusion than sending the Five north. As for me, a question of my experience would be brought up even if hesitantly. I’ve never run anything official and it might be seen as some kind of naive plan on my part. Presenting it as your plan would fight with what the nobles expect of you. Glory hunting or violent tendencies or maybe even an attempt to redeem yourself. We could use that to our advantage of course. Make it seem like we’re merely humoring you to get rid of you.”

Second Youth Quest

You are the archwizard Alexander Matthias.

Recently, you slew one of the Four Heavenly Kings who serve the Great Demon Emperor of the South as his generals and innermost council. People are lauding it as a great accomplishment, but really you just disintegrated him with your magic while he was balls deep in Princess Mariette. Well, there was the matter of you being the only one in the area who avoided being put under his spell, but that was because you were out of the country at the time when he cast it.

Specifically, you were farming Succubi in the Great Pit of Kamar Taj. The Sixty Ninth Floor is filled to the brim with those thirsty demons, and they have a 30% chance to drop [Succubus Charms]. Noblewomen and Merchant Wives will pay top platinum for those cosmetic items to keep themselves pretty and add exciting little details like glowing pink hearts in the their pupils or lewd crests below their navels.

But that's why you were out of the country when Jasmine the Seducer carved a lewd crest into the nation itself and brought every man and woman under her thrall. That's also why you were probably the only person in the Capital not engaging in the city-wide orgy the Seducer led. If your head wasn't clear of lewd thoughts, you wouldn't have been able to shoot that Omnibus in the back.

Sadly, you were about a week too late for this to be swept under the rug. Nine months from now, there will be a baby boom throughout the country... including a royal Cambion from Princess Mariette and a bastard growing inside of the Queen. They're both off to a nunnery for the time being, though you wouldn't be surprised if a few nuns had Nephilim, Cambions, or mundane bastards of their own to bear. It's not your business, though.

The rewards that King Martin Blackstone has deigned to shower you with are, however. Lordship over a remote county with a small-but-bustling port town as its seat, formerly belonging to the traitor who let the Seducer into the country in exchange for the Queen as his sex slave. A wagonload of silver and a chest full of gold.

Most importantly, though, access to the Royal Archive and a selection of one of its many tomes for your personal collection.

The Archive had the book you had been searching for for decades now. An unredacted copy of the Ars Lolita, which contains alchemical instruction on how to become the little girl. You have long sought this knowledge, for though it means the sacrifice of your precious rod and tackle, the forbidden transfiguration confers with it eternal youth.

This is not the butchery which creates the effeminate castrati whose male sopranos are famous among the church choir, but rather a true transfiguration of the self into a youthful female form. You have studied the book these past few weeks, and have made preparations to perform the alchemical ritual prior to your departure. Sure, the lab in your apartment is impromptu, but it will do the job.

Saiyans. Known throughout the universe as the warrior race, their power and combat prowess proved invaluable in the Covenant's downfall. And with the largest threat to the PTO destroyed, their remnants scattered across space, the universe has been united under one banner. Peace reigns across the galaxy, under the rule of Lord Freeza, Emperor of the Universe. But not all wish it to be this way. Remnants of those who were conquered are gathering in the shadows, increasing their power, and plotting their revenge. Will you be able to stop them, or shall the universe once more be plunged into the fires of war?

Welcome to Saiyan Conqueror Quest! This story takes place in an alternate timeline within the greater Dragonball EU. You the players control Karn: once an ordinary Saiyan warrior with a meager powerlevel of 2,830 who has risen to become a mighty Berserker Super Saiyan, and so much more. Throughout your many adventures, the “Dragon of New Salda” has grown into the symbol of Saiyan might and power, widely recognized across the universe as Freeza's close friend and confidant, not to mention his right hand man and General of his forces. Claymore: Second Swords Quest #72

!!mceqYMwptbm ID:QFyQE0fd No.5416830 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
You are Noel Tiberius, queen of Hazaran and former number Seven ranked warrior in the nameless Organization which until a few years ago hunted and killed the monsters known as yōma. Those which remain among your kind, often termed ‘silver-eyed witches’ or simply ‘claymores’ after the great swords you carry as weapons of extermination, have joined together under the Hazari banner. The ancestral seat of your father’s clan, Blackthorn Keep, gives them shelter and defense as they continue their mission of providing security as best they can.

But the Organization’s reach is long, and their tolerance for rebellion is limited. They had already intended to send you all to your deaths at some point, so their desire to eliminate your companions now is more offensive than dangerous, and their desire to kill you in particular is a triviality. But their willingness to destroy your people, and even their neighbors, as part of their efforts? That is unforgivable.

Now you find their artillery pounding defensive positions around the key strategic town of Rosemarkie, after an attempted raid under cover of darkness failed to gain any ground against your well-prepared troops.

To get a better view of the battle you head to the top of one of the fortified hills that ring Rosemarkie to the north and west, clambering up a steep hill in the dark. Your eyes can pick out the details in the low light, which makes it easy for you to maintain a break-neck pace without actually breaking your neck with a misstep, and you quickly reach the fortress.

“Ma’am!” a soldier greets you hastily, omitting the usually-customary salute. “We’re getting a lot of fire from down below, but they’ve moved their guns so we’re having a hell of a time targeting them in the dark!”

After ducking back to get clear of a shell that takes out a chunk of the edge of the wall with a whistling screech, you peer down into the abyss. Sure enough you can see the flashes of the muzzles, but without your keen eyes and your training at hunting in the dark you would have a hard time discerning how far those brief flashes actually are. So it’s less an issue of direction and more one of getting the range correct.

“That’s why you’ve backed your long guns off the wall?”

The man nods. “No sense exposing them to enemy fire if we can’t get the range in. They’ve got us at a disadvantage in the dark - they know where we are.”

Shinobi Sidestory Quest #43

!!mceqYMwptbm ID:nJ9tlxPP No.5416817 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
You are Uzumaki Naori, head of the ninja village of Amegakure and parent of two somewhat troublesome young chūnin. One of them has called you out to a complicated and dangerous situation in the Land of Rivers where a village seems to have suffered an outbreak of curse marks. Which on the face of it is ridiculous of course, being something that’s never previously been communicable - a curse mark is a ninjutsu technique, not a disease that can spread or self-replicate.

Recognizing that naturally drew your curiosity and concern, since if it isn’t truly a “curse mark” that your son Shiki has been dealing with it begs the question “well what is it then” - and that’s a question that needs answering.

That’s why you brought in Orochimaru-han, who also happens to be familiar with Jugo, a man related to the research which led to the curse marks applied to Sasuke-kun, Tayuya-kun, and others. Jugo also happens to be the reason Shiki and two teams from Konoha were sent to this village in the first place. While it made sense at the time to bring the infamous Sannin he’s simply disappeared on you, leaving behind a small white snake which is now wrapped around your left wrist.

Now you have to chase down Orochimaru, who’s only here because you brought him, to make sure he doesn’t cause any problems.

“What’s this?” a voice wonders from out of the forest. You had sensed someone there but hadn’t assigned any importance to it, until you catch a flash of green hair and grey skin. Stopping short means the attacker misses you, his massive right fist taking out the trunk of a nearby tree. “A stray? What a nice opportunity to get in a little exercise!”

“It’s been a while since I had a good meal!” a female voice joins in, and you dodge a straight, linear attack from a young woman with green hair and green skin. But instead of an oversized arm she has an almost shark-like head and backwards-raked horns at the crown of her skull. “I think I’ll help myself!”

Well, at least they’re both confident. You’ll just have to see how well that works for them.

The first of the two swings his massive fist at you again, which you easily avoid with a simple application of trained footwork, fast, floating, and precise. A little twirling move lets you evade his partner, who you would hazard a guess is his sister. Both are fast by any ordinary person’s standards, and you can tell each attack carries a pretty good amount of force behind it, so that’s not their problem. But they’re clearly amateurs.

Do Your Best Quest #135

You’re not sure how you ended up here, you were supposed to be cuddling with the two wonderful tomatoes that you love. But now you’re about to witness a death match between your pal Oliver and a random flame user inside Esperanza’s Magical Colosseum. This show is the Judge girl’s way to repay for the discomfort she and her entity caused you. You’re officially the only crowd member in the entire stadium, and you want your money back.

“You two. You’re going to fight to the death on my signal.” Esperanza uses her megaphone to relay the rules.

“T-To the death...?!” This information takes Oliver by surprise.

“Excuse me?” The girl imagined something like this would happen, but not to this extreme.

“They didn’t know?!” You didn’t like where this is going before, but you feel like this is too much now. Esperanza is way too callous.

“Be quiet. They’re forced to follow my rule.” Esperanza puts her hand over the speaker. “And why do you care? You don’t know these mooncalves.”

“I don’t want to watch people die, especially for entertainment’s sake.” You have morals! Dubious sometimes, but you have them nonetheless! You try to get closer to the girl, but there’s an invisible wall impeding your approach. No matter what the situation is, you hate invisible walls! You don’t think Oliver or the girl can see you clearly from where you are.

“Don’t be so melodramatic. Do you understand how many people have died already in this game? One more won’t make a difference.” Esperanza isn’t getting what you’re saying. “Ugh, now Smithele is bugging me. He tells me to tell you that you need to trust me on this one, everything will be fine, I guess. It’ll be less entertaining if you know more.”

“Judge! This is inconceivable!” The girl complains from down below.

“Too bad.” Esperanza responds with little to no interest. “I do as I please in my jurisdiction.”

“You can’t be serious!” The girl is indignant.

“This is your fault for putting your nose where it doesn’t belong.” Esperanza talks back.

“Sounds like my life in a nutshell…” Oliver laughs at himself.

“Don’t make light of the situation.” The girl retorts at Oliver’s coping method with disgust.

“Sorry, when despair overwhelms me, all I can do is laugh! Buahehahuhihihi!!!” Oliver continues his trademark awful laugh.

Can you do something to stop this?

What do you do?

>Ask if you can change the rules so it doesn’t have to be to the death. A three count? Until unconsciousness? Point is, channel your inner Scarlet and make this lamer.
>Gain some time by asking to talk to the contestants in private. Make your presence known to help out somehow.
>Ask Esperanza for more details as to why everything will be fine. You can’t trust psychopaths easily.
>Keep watching. Esperanza asked you to trust her and you will have to.
>Write In.

And we’re back! Low Speed Anti-Divine QM here, welcome to thread 3!

Quick recap of thread 2: Anon and his Avenger of Red fought off Kuro no Lancer’s clones (and later discerned his True Name to be Sun Wukong), palled around with Truvietianne, Rushorou, Matsuda, and their Servants for a while, blew a couple of shipborne Servants to smithereens, had a somewhat inconclusive but edifying spar with Matsuda, got a map of the city from Caster of Black, and started investigating part of the southwest section with Truvietianne and her Servant. Lastly, an unknown Servant announced their presence in spite of Anon’s earlier show of force.

Bones Quest #19: ToMARROW... The World!

!!ehWv9n5C1mz ID:up5qvmbz No.5379588 View ViewReplyLast 50OriginalReport
You’re STANLEY PARBLE: a girl with a weird name and an even weirder tale: after a CENTURIES-OLD LICH woke up during your graveyard shift at the GOOD BOY DOGGIE BONE factory, your simple life of janitorial work became a bit more… Complicated.
Sure, you became pals with your now-sentient skeleton (you named him LY) AND gained some nifty SUPER POWERS from eating MAGICAL BONE MARROW, but that doesn’t change the fact that your hometown of CLEARWATER, CALIFORNIA is overrun by HOMICIDAL SKELETONS! Even worse, the guy in charge is dead-set on taking over the rest of the world while he’s at it! Not cool!

The beginning of the end: that’s what you thought, at least. Having laid HIGH SCHOLAR IZITHA, the last of TIM’S nefarious LIEUTENANTS AND PHYLACTERIES to rest in her Atlantean lab below the sea, all that remained was to take the fight to the wicked warlock himself… but how?

Your answer, you reasoned, lay with your old friend CLIFF– the ringleader of the skeletons you hadn’t reduced to dust in your travels. Heading to their headquarters at the old DRIVE-IN, you were met with not only a solid plan, but a well-deserved party in your honor, too!

Enjoying the rest of the night with your old friends, you eventually retired for the evening with your janitor companion and ex-would-be-assassin TALBOT... f-for security reasons, obviously, don’t read into it! Upon waking, however, you quickly surmised that something had gone seriously wrong… and once again TIM was behind it all.

Possessing Talbot’s body, the lich was all too happy to inform you of your grave mistakes, chief among them befriending his thralls when he could see and hear everything they do, including planning to smuggle you into his FLYING FORTRESS LAIR. Asserting his vile will on your bony friends, TIM left you to deal with the army of skeletons you neglected to destroy, a raging bloody blizzard, and a Talbot intent on tearing you apart.

Though you escaped from the trap by the skin of your teeth, some of your friends weren’t so lucky–both MITZI AND ART were hurt while fleeing, and while you sent them to the UNIVERSITY for medical aid, you focused on taking care of the Talbot problem.
