Something is probably wrong, in the fog just past the limits of your perception of the world and your place in it. Something is probably off. And you don't even know. Because you can't quite notice it. Because it's just out of reach. Because you're confined in a limited model world constructed by forces which are you but are also fully out of your control.
Existing is just plain too spooky in the abstract and hardly gets less spooky if considered in specific, conventionally agreed to be concrete terms.
