back in (catholic? or am i christian? i don't even know which it was supposed to be) school when i was like 8 or so they took all the grades into gym class to teach us about jew traditions around the end of the year just so we'd be less ignorant of things
we learned about some of the winter season holiday things they have and we got to eat "traditional jewish food"
one of the things we ate was unleavened bread with honey, which is all pretty good and stuff, i'd choose to eat that if it were something that was actually around and convenient to get, but it's mostly not
the other thing was radishes, raw, and i'm pretty sure that was almost everyone in that room's first exposure to eating raw radishes
everyone absolutely hated it, myself included
to this day i'm convinced that they were trying to convince us to never convert to judaism, because if we did, we'd have to each radishes
this episode contained radishes and reminded me of that event
the episode was fine for introducing one of the island weirdos, she seems plenty weird
thanks for watching
