And I really was back then. That's why I have no respect for people that act superior for having "discriminating" tastes. Like they're the ones missing out on enjoying so many great games. Have fun not having fun I guess. That's probably why I had such low JRPG experience up until a few years ago when I just went on a tear. And it would have happened way earlier if I didn't try to give emulators a chance. As soon as I got my hands on the real consoles again and sat in front of a CRT it was completely effortless. During that time I of course thought about playing Secret of Mana but I was just not feeling it. I could probably whip it out right now and play it but I could just wait until I actually feel like playing it. No rush. Probably my favorite soundtrack from a game I've never played (maybe even from any game). TL;DR I'd rather play Secret of Mana first.
