>>2938Dunno about being glad about it, but so long as it doesn't turn in to some manner of regret. Those are seldom constructive.
Mine is going however more slowly, the slight focus issue only causes headaches on occasion but that's more or less going to be fixed whenever the glasses are actually ready.
I knew about discord early on but never really bothered with it until some time early last year. Frankly its pretty nice to use. Its not easy for me either, but it gives me a lot more to do with my time than I've ever had so I'm not all that bothered by it.
Not that I'd expect people to stick around here, not exactly much going on beyond the regular archive board stuff so its unsurprising if people forget it exists.
It is weirdly hard to come up with self-assigned projects. Some sort of end item or goal. I wrote a simple script to extract audio from videos and convert to MP3 using ffmpeg for example. Maybe a site with a specific function and design, not necessarily one you'd use but for the sake of it. Thinking of it, I kind of want to go about an old idea to write an image host but actually include some sort of API so I can actually use it with something like sharex.
The issue is specifically with the newer recaptcha, it throws some error about how it failed to open the siteverify URL on google, but no more details than this. I spent hours trying to dig in to the error and try various things to either fix or further break it and it just won't budge. I can only assume the library used for recaptcha here is out of date, I'll try and update it or otherwise try to stop using the lib the board software relies on but that will be for some time when I have the motivation.
