I think the problem is that there is no real word for that kind of combo heavy stylish gameplay that we call "hack and slash". I think there's a difference between that and any other 3D game that uses cutty and pokey weapons. I think even diablo is a hack and slash since the term orignated in pen and paper RPGs.
