And I think what you're referring to has already happened to me, in discord, since I used to be a discordfag.
I got too invested in servers and shit that I ended up neglecting school and repeating my semaphore year.
I don't really regret it since here we only got 3 years at highschool and in US there's 4 so yeah, I would be the same age as my peers so no regret lol. But I've learned from my mistakes now, it's fine.
