>>291019>why in the flying Jesus would I consider you part of the mainstream public?Well I was talking about people that wait for a game to be cheaper before buying it and you started talking about the opposite and it seemed a little bit too specific considering I've talked a lot about taking a break from my backlog. But I didn't take it personally or anything. I don't think it's bad to wait either I just could never do it for a game I'm hyped about.
>Yes, but it depends on the game (and I'm also fine with playing games days and weeks later because some shippers suck)I don't have to play EVERYTHING on release. I have an infinite backlog after all. But there are certain games that I prefer to play on release. And honestly I rarely actually play a game on release. I usually take a day to prepare myself mentally and build up some hype.
>I was joking and taking a stab at Obsidian when I said to wait a couple of months for that game do drop 50% in priceOh because Microsoft is going to run them into the ground? Ok that's actually funny.
>C'mon, those games are borderline lifelessThere are so many characters with unique lives and stories and history that I can't really call them lifeless. I mean sure compared to something like Red Dead Redemption 2 they might seem lifeless but what other game even comes close to that level of activity? I'd genuinely love to know.
