I have an infinite backlog after all. But there are certain games that I prefer to play on release. And honestly I rarely actually play a game on release. I usually take a day to prepare myself mentally and build up some hype.

I mean sure compared to something like Red Dead Redemption 2 they might seem lifeless but what other game even comes close to that level of activity? I'd genuinely love to know.
