oh right and ganon fight
first phase took me a little while to figure out, second phase was super easy to figure out but i liked how it was presented with the reflection
third phase though, wow, that was a clutch ending
i never figured it out, it was pure winging it with spamming light arrows till something hit
the first light arrow i launched was a direct hit, so i figured i should just do the rest the same way
yeah that didn't go so well, ganon started phasing through the walls occasionally because i don't think the fight was supposed to go on without the player figuring out the gimmick for that long
for the second hit, i was trying to be kind of patient and see a pattern where i could hit with again z(whatever)targeting and just letting loose an arrow with proper timing, but i started getting frustrated and just spammed a volley of 8 arrows into him as quickly as possible, one of which did the damage
for the last hit, supplies were sparse and there's only so many times i could tank him before running low on health, i was down to 1 and a half hearts after drinking both servings of soup, my green potion for magic, and getting revived by a bottled fairy
i was down to three arrows and was just letting ganon circle me, and tried to patiently do the deed from first person, it worked out on the last arrow and i won
i later died to the final ganon fight (which i think is the only time in the game i've died) because through the entire game, while i've been able to get into the habit of inverted horizontal axis, i've not been able to keep sword and context button memorized by heart, and would constantly be trying to sword when wanting to parry, or throwing picked up weapon when wanting to slice
