But you're forgetting that the majority of babysitters are either
a) Teenage girls who'd also be off from school, allowing them to babysit kids more than ever
b) Stay at home women/housewives looking for spare income, who wouldn't be affected by the need to go to work

With all the teenage girls off school, there'll be a surplus of babysitters available.
