You don’t exactly level up in this game. Instead, the enemies level up depending on how well you’re doing. Hitting an enemy, ducking under attacks, and taunting are the typical ways to raise the level. Getting hit or using Grovel will bring it down. Higher levels mean that the enemies will be faster and stronger, and sometimes there will be more enemies on the level. You also can’t launch enemies with as many moves when they are on Lvl Die. However, you will get more money at the end of the stage for killing enemies at higher levels.
Easy Mode – Lvl 1 and Lvl 2.
Normal Mode – Lvl 1 through Lvl Die
Hard Mode – All enemies are on Lvl Die.''
