As for the meta boards in general...there's a lot more narcissism found in higher concentrations than even on 4chan itself in those, at least that's what I see, so its not so much standard practice as it is self-serving retardation, not saying I'm excluded from it
That and perhaps in a less cynical light, 4chan is all about anonymity, whereas elsewhere that defining trait may be lost a bit.
