shamelessly used the damage calculation bug to saw god in half
weird game
i knew saga likes to randomly go future tech but i didn't expect the humble beginnings of the game to then turn into hoverbikes and trains by the end of it
i looked up a "how to play" kind of guide since the ingame documentation is very 1989, basically yeah it's easy to break the hell out of the game by abusing steroids and having a monster that knows saw
also near the end of the game, absolutely constant saving and soft resetting just because the monster hp bloat was way too high to be worth spending the time fighting
the first zone was extremely not good and the rest was only "interesting" for the choices they were making for the types of areas they were putting... inside of a tower
as far as rpgs towers go, that was a pretty good tower, but it was no darm tower
i had a small amount of fun, it worked as an rpg ass rpg, all mechanics and basically no story
