The game itself story-wise is pretty underwhelming, in my opinion, but the setting in 1940s LA is what I love about it. I love historical recreations, especially those from the first half of the 20th century. The music, the cars, etc. I like it.
Ah, same, I felt like I could barely talk at that age. I was less edgy and more depressed, myself. I guess to simplify, I acted and thought a lot like the anons on /r9k/ because I actually really wanted a gf at that point. Sometime around 17 is when I realized that it wouldn't happen and even if it did, it would end up horribly. So, I just got over it and accepted it.
