oh right i didn't fully explain but you get to the lobby of an apartment by just knowing the password to the apartment
the actual buzzer/lock can only be accessed by the apartment owner, but if you know the password you can come to the apartment and wait in the lobby to be buzzed in
but i bought the apartment and gave it the password "shrine" and posted on the in-game bulletin board about what i had done to honor my friend
