>>286024>for example the upcoming pokemon game won't feature all of the pokemon or mega-evolutions or z-moves and the graphics look underwhelming even for the switch and I can say with complete certainty that it's because Game Freak are lazy and cheap bastards that just want to rake in the money as fast as possible. That's a completely different matter about a radically different medium because the gaming industry is a whole another beast.
Some things are the same for me (calling Vanillaware bad names because they're taking they're time their sweet and proper time developing 13 Sentinels is moronic in my book) while others are not (like calling out sports game developers for their slothful behavior) but software making is something completely unrelated to what I was talking about.
>But that doesn't mean that the game is going to be bad.Yeah, for starters we can't talk about it until the game is out and customers can experience the whole game.
>I don't really pirate games either but I don't think that excludes people from having an opinion. Of course people can do that (and I do that but not for games) but that doesn't mean that get to act all haughty and arrogant with the creators.
Let me give you a real, proper and easy to understand example:
Miura Kentaro, famous author of Berserk, has been putting is series on and off hold for many, many years and the story is proceeding very slowly.
Now, the readers are not really happy with that but which ones of the following groups of readers do you think has the right to complain/be dissatisfied with the current situation?
-Japanese readers that buy the Young Animal (the magazine its serialized in) and buy the compiled volumes
-Japanese readers that buy just the compiled volumes
-Overseas fans that buy the licensed compiled volumes in their countries
-Overseas fans that only read scanlated chapters
