As for anonymity though, I think it'd be nice to let people just make whatever accounts they wanted, multiple accounts, or not just following some set name (but more just how other people recognize them, like a handle). They could link them or not, but the idea is that people tend to have different personas in different settings. And people are much better off personalizing how they want to present themselves than selecting presentations for others. Makes it easier to connect to other people too.
