There was a great exhaustive list of every overused JRPG trope ever, and I couldn't help but laugh at how true it was. I need to find that again. I suppose it's the way of the nips. I just grew up with them, so I have a hard time playing other "action" genres at times.

When you get it back, I expect you to dump everything on it. I'm not the best person to ask for music recs. Most of the stuff I listen to is probably edgy fedora-tier, but I've just always loved it, even before that shitty meme, so I don't really care. With my interest in history, a lot of my music interest goes there, too. I like jazz, blues, R&B, and because I grew up with my grandfather always playing it, old country music. I've got what feels like 300 pounds of old 78s that I should go through eventually and a gramophone and whatnot. A shame the records are basically worthless other than for historical value. That said, I also like some rock music, but never was as much into it. I like a lot of OSTs and, of course, some good Japanese pop music. I'm listening to the LoGH OST at the moment. A pretty great OST, in my opinion.
