>>1421I would say that the VN is much better. I also watched the anime first, and while it was good, it messes some things up, like Braun's death. There are also multiple endings for each girl, because, well, it's a visual novel. Even though you've already watched the anime, I think you'll still get some good enjoyment out of it. There are some subtle references to Chaos;Head in the Steins;Gate VN, but it's not highly necessary to have played it first, unlike in the case of Robotics;Notes. I think the SciAdventure series is great as whole, but sadly we'll probably never get any more of their VNs translated, and will be forced to watch the anime that come out afterwards. /a/ has a good chart for reference, but I haven't updated mine since June or so, so this one is pretty outdated.
