At this point the metroidvania genre is probably the most bloated genre in the history of video games. Kind of what I was talking about the other day. So it does affect my perception a bit. But like I said I didn't play most of that shovelware so it still feels pretty fresh to me. Pretty fun and good music.
>Symphony of the Night but I didn't went very far because I bought it as XBLA title and playing it with the 360 controller wasn't very fun, like at all. I don't know. To me it seems like the 360 controller would be fine for anything. But I mean whatever Symphony of the Night is not for everyone I guess. I'm a much bigger fan of the earlier Castlevania games anyway. The music was so fucking good...
