the meta layer of the monetization stuff is that coco debuted along with 4 other vtubers, 3 of which got youtube monetization so people are able to readily throw money at them
coco is too spicy and is probably not eligible for monetization, and the angel that she debuted with also hasn't made it but is kind of weird since she's only a little sassy and hardly crossing any lines
and then the subject matter for the other knightly looking one with a chest full of $$$ was that she got kicked out of the monetization system not too long ago, so i guess that's why they're looking for workarounds instead of relying directly on youtube so that money can be thrown at them freely again
