I managed to get an old piece of shit laptop running a hacked driver to barf out a signal my CRT would accept.
It's a lot more of a headache than it needs to be. It would probably be less of a headache if I bought some extra hardware. But that would make my life easier, so I'm not going to do that.
This is the price I pay for not playing on real hardware.
I don't actually play video games though so it's cool. We're cool, universe. You can stop now.

I did watch the first episode of Amphibia and it kind of grated on me. I've heard good things about later stuff though.
Most cartoons tend to have rocky starts, anyway, probably from the nature of development and pitching to networks.

Really not sure what I'm doing here but it's kind of therapeutic.
That stupid tree maze is so phoned in though. I was like "the fuck do I put in all this space" and didn't feel like pulling up some other early game routes for reference.
I think there's probably a problem with how everything is spaced out in general, because the game's actual viewport is very small.

I think that's enough eastward momentum for now.
That northern part is gonna be a town, and then south is gonna be a route that probably leads to a cave that leads to a town or something. Not sure what will be south or east of the river. There might be something to the east of the northern town as well. I don't think there's going to be anything much further north.

i remember liking s2 well enough but 3 is not particularly good
