Life is for the most part meaningless and unfortunately we all have to die eventually. I don’t see the big deal with these “addictions”. Apparently, the user thinks that playing some casual game like League of Legends or Overwatch would be “happiness and fulfillment”. I on the other hand wholeheartedly believe that one should strive to achieve near constant mental stimulation. In my experience, activities that bring about near constant thought and stimulation are what make for a good time and an enjoyable life. I think the user needs to expand their definition of “addiction”. Currently it seems to only apply to activities that bring about negative stimuli, such as stealing or illegal gambling. An activity doesn’t have to be “bad” for your life to still be enjoyable. In fact, I would argue that one should strive to make nearly every moment of their life pleasant and stimulating
