>>4439545Guys that gamed in the 90s aren't playing much anymore not only because a time contraint but also vidya (and anime to some degree) is ass nowadays, mostly because it's not targeted at them anymore.
>>4440696>I watched /r9k/ morph into a monster, vanish, and then get resurrected for the detriment of humanityI dont know what's shocking you about it, if X people get annoyed enough at a system, there will be pushbacks, like the four bee (f*mc*ls) movement of South Korea there's an inc*ls movement online.
I'm 44 myself and you kind of miss the good old days before the eternal september.
>>4441262>what do you think changed the most about the internetNTA. Some realities that a lot of people aren't comfy with, but it's a three fold thing (mostly)
1- The internet went from allowing people to talk, interact and network by and for nerds/geeks to exploitation (selling, influence, click farming, etc...) by normies/normies adjacent (mostly younger generations, starting with GenZ)
2- the internet went from a majority of users being Western centric to non Westerner centric and that changed the landscape drastically, especially when mixed with point 1 (and 3)
3- ''WW3 is a guerilla information war with no division between military and civilian participation'' - Marshall McLuhan.
It's not the kind of easy answer that people appreciate but it's a reality that ideologues, governements, etc... are using the internet (and hobbies, for you mostly consume them home or in a safe enough place that your defences are' '' down'')
>>44420602007 is the year things went bad, Facebook, IPhone, Twitter, Android, Kindle, Netbook, first MSM documentary on 4cuck, etc...
>>4443118Non zero chance that this is one of the ideologues I previously mentioned, it's too antagonistic and too quick to shift an imaginary blame.
